Nairobi blast was terror attack, claims Odinga

A blast that wounded dozens in central Nairobi on Monday was a "terrorist" attack, Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga said, contradicting earlier police reports it was caused by an electrical fault.

Nairobi is starting to suffer economically. Poor Kenyas have been driven into a war they do not want at this time or at any other time.

Recently, Kenyans have been killing themselves, thanks to our beloved Presidents Mkapa and Kikwete who took all initiatives to make them seat and talk it over, with those commendable efforts from Tanzanians, the killings stopped and Kenyans could smile again.

What a pity to see them now, after a short breather, in war with their blood neighbors the Somalis, though it is trumpeted all over to be believed that they are in war with Al Shabaab, the truth is Al Shabaab or not, they are Somalis first and foremost.

Influx of tourists is at its lowest in Nairobi right now, and if things do not change for a while it is heading to worst.

My advice to Kenyans is be bold and do not let your politicians lead you into the war you do not want.

For a few dollars in their pockets (ruling elites), Kenya will be cursed forever. You have been in tribal wars recently but you have not experienced religious war since the coming of the Portuguese, and then it was not felt in greater Kenya as the war was in Mombasa which was part of Zanzibar then. By interfering in Somalia the war will be felt by each and every Kenyan, it will not chose the area or the tribe.

Solution: Declare you are pulling out of Somalia. Remember the US when they interfered into Somalia physically? they took off running after being dragged in the Streets, we do not want to see that happening in the Streets of Nairobi as Nairobi is now part and parcel of Somalis.

Good advice, even their masters have recently issued the terror alert:

The British government has issued a warning to its citizens abroad that a terrorist attack in Nairobi is imminent. This follows the activities of the Kenyan army in Somalia. The UK warning comes after a similar alert issued by the USA.

This is quite funny coming from the most beggarly nation in EA, those you call "our masters" are in fact the people who put food in your mouth as TZ is the nation most dependent on the west for its economic survival, not kenya. Look at the proportion of foreign aid in Kenya's budget and in TZ's. Have you ever heard that saying about biting hands...

Talking about begging? total misconception. I am talking abut your colonial masters! wouldn't you agree to that? Who are your colonial masters? be honest!

Take a look, who is feeding who?

"When Tanzania outlawed maize exports to Kenya, our people still ate Tanzania's maize.
There is no need to introduce the levy because the goods will find their way to Kenya anyway," Sirma said. "

Bet you never knew that we feed Kenyans.

So, because Kenya exports vegetables to Europe, can we claim that we, Kenyans, feed Europeans?

It would appear that Tanzanian Nationalism embeds ill-concealed anti-Kenya xenophobia . And without expressing it, the Elite in Tanzania seem to lack definition. In every exchange and every contact, this debilitating retrogression is the common thread that underlies Tanzanian – Kenya relationship. And has ballooned during these past ten years as the growth disparities between both countries relentlessly increased.

Before last year, this condition was benign though ludicrous but bearable. In the past year, though, it permeates even such grave matters as the emergent collective horrors posed by the militant extremism being breed and nurtured in Africa by protagonists in the perennial conflict of the Judea-Christian versus Islamic Cultures today, in which our societies have become convenient theatres for the projection power and interests of the opposing sides to this conflict.

A supposedly educated Tanzanian sits in Arusha, a mere 100 Kilometres from Musambweni in Kenya, the bedrock of the AlQaida-inspired Mombasa Republican Front, and blithely shows his shocking ignorance by saying '' ni nyie wakenya mnaovamia na Al-Shaabab''. Ujinga mkumbwa kushinda huo upo wapi, jamani?? Disregarding the fact, of course, that the demography on the Kenyan Coastline that is being corrupted and taken captive by this militant extremist doctrine of Al-Qaida is reflected to the same detail along the coastline into Tanzania well beyond Dar-el-salaam.

None of the present African states have cemented demographies, as exemplified by the Masai Nation on both sides of Kenya and Tanzania. There lies the genesis for endless internecine conflict in East Africa if militant extremism becomes an accepted avenue for redress or redistribution in our societies.

Is Tanzania any safer than Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia with fighting men in Somalia?

Who has declared war with Somalis?

Kenyans would do everything to drag this war into Tanzania and Uganda, as they well know they'll never win this war, the only way out for them now is to drag others into this stupidly declared war. Just few stupid puppets fatten their bank accounts and sold their country, now they want to drag Tanzania into it. No way. As you stupidly declared it you have all the rights to again stupidly cease it. You do not have our mercy whatsoever, at all.

What absolute nonsense!! And where was it said to youthat anyone wants Tanzania assistance in Somalia or anywhere else - the perennially introspective nation of Eastern Africa? A self-involved Nation that sees a world no further than it's national borders? With an archaic Military corrupted by retrogressive proletariat policies? To give assistance in what manner? What a joke this is!!

The EAC Defense protocol has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the present Somalia engagement. It is integral to the EAC Integration philosophy, and one amongst other policies running concurrently. Stop being so typically narrow-minded, capture this Defense Protocol in the wider picture of things.

Uganda Army UGABAG entered Somalia five years (5years!!) before KDF jumped off last year October. As did Burundi

The Somali Deployment is an IGAD Strategic Agenda, adopted by the AU, and under the ambit of AMISOM.

There has been no mention in any forum whatsoever for Tanzania to do more than lend Diplomatic and Political Solidarity with the AMISOM Mission. KDF has no need for ANY Military Assistance from Tanzania, not even figuratively.

As in everything else, Tanzanian have a admirable patriotic regard for their JWTZ, unfortunately that is all that drives the overblown reviews they make of it.

The Somali Military Theatre is about to close; subsequently policing action to mop up the indiscipline of the last twenty years of chaos will take place going forth. Whatever Government crafted post TDG in August will have the muscle and structures to undertake this. Unfortunately, the closure of the Military Campaign in Somalia will disperse the Militant Extremists into the wider Eastern Africa (including Tanzania), the results which will be persistent insecurity in the region for an indeterminate period.

people need to understand that, kenya alone is incompetent to wage war against any country, even the little Burundi can defeat kenya. did you look at their military parade yesterday, the madaraka day....their soldiers look weak, incopetent, do not show any strength, unless they come to learn things from tz, they will never win this war....we have experience, we threw iddi amini from the throne,...kenya would not reach that stage surely.....Tanzanians should leave kenya and those who are not in their country, do not visit this country, it is not safe over t here...utakuwa club utalipukiwa na bomu...nani aliwaloga mkawachokoze hawa al shababu.....

until come reach to a stage of begging tz to help your problems, you are falling apart my nyangáu...the mombasa republican is waiting for you, al shabab is killing your weak soldiers like helpless sheep, ukabils/tribalism is full in your throats and eyes, you discovered oil in turkana, but still those guys may want to depart from your british colony/kenya... though hata sisi watz tunalo tatizo la zanzibar, lakini hilo sisi haliwezi kuturudisha nyuma kiuchumi...it is just a matter of departing from each other ....lakini kenya, inahitaji kuomba msaada kwa watz ili tuwasaidie...wapige magoti, bila hivyo...matatizo haya mtakuwa nayo muda mrefu.

Hehehe! Wtz an an amazing species. You have an Military? I know a hell of a lot more of the JWTZ than you apparently do. I will not give insult nonetheless by debating you about it - you have little of value to give in such an exchange.

But, go ahead and feed yourself with these typical delusions of grandeur and self-importance. What a joke!!

Exactly a typical boneless empty-headed wtz reaction to intellectual challenge - insults.

I dismiss you now with the words of a famously intelligent President who simply says to the likes of you - '' bure kabisa, m@vi ya kuku wewe''!!
