The Institution operates by providing education and training in the fields of Community Development, Gender and other business related disciplines. 3.1 ASSISTANT LECTURER - (2 VACANCIES) 3.1.1 Qualifications · Holder of Masters Degree or its equivalent in the field of psychology; environmental studies or ICT backed by a good first degree or its equivalent with at least Upper second class and · Experience of teaching in an institution of higher learning 3.1.2 Remuneration Attractive salary and incentive package in accordance with the Institution’s Salary Scales (PHTS 13 – 14).
    3.1.3 Duties and Responsibilities · Teaches up to NTA level 8 (Bachelors Degree); · Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises; · Conducts research, seminars and case studies; · Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision; · Supervises students project; · Prepares teaching manual; and · Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor 3.2 TUTORIAL ASSISTANT - (2 VACANCIES) 3.2.1 Qualifications · Holder of a good Bachelor Degree (NTA Level 8) or its equivalent qualification in Community Development of at least Upper second class 3.2.2 Remuneration Attractive salary and incentive package in accordance with the Institution’s Salary Scales (PHTS 9 -12).
    3.2.3 Duties and Responsibilities · Teaching up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma); · Assists in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision; · Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises; · Assists in conducting research under close supervision; · Carries out consultancy and community services under close supervision; and · Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor. 4.0 THE LAW SCHOOL OF TANZANIA The Law School of Tanzania is a public institution established by an Act of
    Parliament, Cap.425, to provide practical legal training for law graduates
    aspiring to become legal practitioners.
    4.1 SENIOR LECTURER – 1 VACANCY - (READVERTISED) REPORTS TO: HEAD – PRACTICAL LEGAL TRAINING 4.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Teaches assigned classes as deemed appropriate by the Practical Legal Training Department; · Prepares teaching materials; · Manages tutorial groups and allocates various topics · Participates in the development, preparation and modification of the subject outlines, based on the approved syllabus; · Informs students adequately regarding course formats, assignments and methods of evaluation, · Organises and liaises with the Head of Practical training about assessment items, such as examinations ad tests, and arrange marking of all assessment items; · Provides advice or counseling to students on matters related to the course; · Liaises with the Head of Practical Training regarding timetabling; · Carries out assessment, monitoring and evaluation of examination work, and providing an academic and consultative support to students in their learning activities; · Engages in publication of research output, articles, manuscripts and books and to deposit such publications with the Head of Practical Training and School Library; · Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of academic quality assurance arrangements; · Participates in appropriate activities necessary to the development of the Section and the School; · Directs and supervises the work of lecturers under him or her and takes academic and professional responsibility for the academic standards of their work. · Carries out any other duty as may be assigned from time to time 4.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: · A holder of at least a 2nd Class, Upper Division LL.B Degree. Possession of LL.M Degree will be an added advantage. · Senior Advocate or a person qualified to be a Senior Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, or a person who has served as a Senior Judicial Officer, State Attorney or Legal Officer; · Experience in providing instructions in academic and professional programmes will be highly desirable; · Ability to relate to students and other members of staff including problem management skills; · Proven ability to implement practical training programmes 4.1.3 RENUMERATION: Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Public Higher Learning Institutions Salary Scales - PHTS 17 – 18. 5.0 LOCAL GOVERNMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE The Local Government Training Institute was established under Act No.26 of 1994. the Major roles of the Institute is to increase capacity building of local authorities in Tanzania and also to make research and consultancy.

    5.1 DEPUTY RECTOR - PLANNING, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION – (1 VACANCY - READVERTISED) 5.1.1 REPORTS TO : THE RECTOR 5.1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- · Head the Directorate of planning, finance and administration · Supervise and maintain acceptable standards of discipline of the Institutes’ staff · Facilitate learning (by teaching) of academic programmes in the Institute · Be the secretary of the Board · Be responsible to the Rector for the general administration and human resources management of the Institute · Advise the Rector on all administrative, legal, personnel and financial matters · Be responsible for formulating accounting policies and procedures of the Institute and for submitting budgets, audited accounts and · Perform any other duties which the Rector may assign 5.1.3 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE · Masters Degree or PHD holder of higher academic standing (Senior Lecturer) with credentials to be categorised as associate Professor of higher learning institution. · Outstanding academic and administrative experience of at least 8 years in a reputable institution and capacity in the area of technical education and training, five of which should be at Senior Managerial level · Demonstrated ability to manage change in the reputable organisation and providing strategic decision. 5.1.4 RENUMERATION: Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institutes Salary Scales 5.1.5 TENURE OF OFFICE The Deputy Rector - Planning, Finance and Administration of the Institute shall hold office for a term of four years and may be re appointed consecutively for more than four years. 5.1.6 AGE Applicant should be between 40 to 55 years 6.0 THE INSTITUTE OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION – LUSHOTO The Institute of Judicial Administration – Lushoto is a Public Institution established by an Act of Parliament No.3 of 1998, (now Cap. 405 R.E 2002), the major roles of the Institute is to offer and conduct training programmes in legal disciplines and also to make research and consultancy. 6.1 ASSISTANT LECTURER (RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT) –

    Jamani mbona hawa watu wa secretariat ya ajira wakitangaza kazi zao huwa wanakuwa na masharti magumu sana? au wana maana gani? Utakuta mtu unakuwa interested na position fulani na kulingana na sifa za idara husika VIGEZO vyote unavyo! Lakini hawa jamaa wanaongeza na masharti yao kwanini hasa?

    Sio vigezo vya sekrarieti ila ni vya serikali kiujumla kupitia menejimenti ya Utumishi wa Umma. Lengo ni kuzuia au kupunguza movoment kwa watu walioajiriwa hasa katika Junior level. Mfano mtu ameajiriwa wizara ya Maji kama Mchumi analipwa haki zake zote kama subsistence allowance, transport na traveliing aloowance, mwezi unaofuata analikuta tangazo BOT kwa nafasi ile ile ila kwea kuwa anajua kuna maslahi anaomba halafu anakimbia. Kibaya zaidi wapo wengine ambao hata hiyo nafasi ya wizara ya maji wanaitafuta kwa udi na uvumba. Ikumbukwe wasipokuwa wakali kwenye hili sisi tuliopo kwenye system ndio tutafaidika coz tayari tuna network. So waraka unazuia mtu aliyepo kwenye kada ya chini (entry level) kuajiriwa kwenye serikali kwa level ile ile. Kipengere namba 6 kinawahusu waliopo kwenye level ya senior, Principal na kuendelea kujaza nafasi kwa baraka za mwajiri ili kuhakikisha anayeondoka haachi pengo kwani mwajiri anayepitisha atajua ni namna gani atafidia lile pengo
