Mungiki youths disrupt GEMA meeting

Friday March 23, 2012 - Hundreds youths disrupted a planned GEMA convention meeting in Limuru on Friday demanding a former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga be allowed to address the meeting.

Maina Njenga who is now a reformed pastor has been in the recent past been associating himself with the illegal sect and he has been in the frontline reviving the former banned sect.

Last weekend, police cancelled Njenga’s meeting in Nakuru citing security concerns over the meeting.

The meeting which was organised by leaders from Mt Kenya region is aimed at discussing the politics of the region after President Mwai Kibaki’s exit from power.

ask your commanders why they have never tried to cross the tanzanian border in their DPM to Kenya. The political environment in Kenya isnt as volatile plus there were no pangas in the meeting. This election will be peaceful, either this year or next.

whats your agenda? Tarnishing Kenya comes as a pass time ama what.
Nway, wait for it, this years election must and have to be peaceful. too much is at stake esp with ICC manenos in mind.

That's what we all pray for but it is important that this tribal talk is toned down, otherwise there is no remedy. When the overriding desire is to show how "better" you are towards your brother, then you can only expect trouble in the long run. There is an old adage that says: "Charity begins at home"!

This has been taken out of context and blown out of proportion... Context ni kwamba watu walikua wanasema kua ICC isimamishe prosecution yake hadi uchaguzi ufanyike, na huyo Maina Njenga akataka kusema ni bora ICC imalize mapema, kabla ya uchaguzi. So he was silenced just because he did not think like other speakers at the meeting. It has nothing to do with him being a Mungiki leader (at least not so obviously).

Kenya imeweza kuithibiti somalia pale marekani na uabeshi walifeli. What does that tell you? Kenya pia wamepoteza wanajeshi chini ya 30 kwa huo muda wote

When Tanzania was fighting, Kenya was suckling patted in their bottoms by their masters, big nyang'aus. Which war did Kenya participate? fighting a puppet war with few Somali freedom fighters you call it a war?

Tanzania was involved in every way you can imagine in every major war south of Sahara which led the continent's to true freedom.

pole kaka sikudhani nitakera mtu hivyo. are you still talking about that kagera war with idi amin? where tanzania army had two yes two katyusha multiple rocket launchers and idi amin one. now seriously do we have an airforce i have googled na sijaona tanzania airforce anywhere

this wars of the sixties and seventies with RPG's fit nowhere in todays geopolitics. Av tried to check your mechanized infantry and its not worth the name 'mechanized'. Checked your budget and aloof, u turn out to be a joke. Weapons array and its even crazier, the only resource you have is a tight radar that makes your airspace inviolable but that too can be addressed in war times. 'With ease infact'
