Kutokana na usumbufu wa yahoo email katika outlook naamini kuna watu wana trick iliyowapelekea kufanikiwa kuifanya email ya yahoo ifanye kazi bila matatizo au errors katika outlook.

Naomba mnpe huo utundu maana nimejaribu lakini wapi?

Kuweza kuunganisha Outlook na Yahoo, you need to set up the POP ( Post Office Protocol) server. Nitakupa hizo POP zote hapa chini.

Sasa, kuset POP kwa ajili ya Microsoft Outlook 2007:

1. Nenda Tools and Account Settings – Chini ya kipengele cha E-mail tab bonyeza New.
2. Chagua E-mail Service. Bonyeza kwenye Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, au HTTP (radio button zake).
3. Click kwenye check box ya Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server Types . Hii itajaza automatically fileds zote ambazo ni lazima kujaza.
4. Click Next.
5. Click kwenye puto la Internet E-mail , halafu click Next.
6. Ingiza taarifa hizi hapa chini:

• Your Name: Jina ambalo unataka ulitumie, mfano, Givenality.
• Email address: e-mail yako yote ikiwa full, mfano, givenality@yahoo.com
• Incoming Server: hizi hutofautiana kutokana na kamputi ya e-mail yako. Kwa vile umesema ni Yahoo basi ni plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com. Tumia SSL, port: 995
• Outgoing Mail server: Nazo hutofautiana ila kwa yahoo ni plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com. Tumia SSL, port: 465, tumia authentication.
• User name: kipande cha kwanza cha e-mail yako. Kwa kutumia mfano wangu wa givenality@yahoo.com unaweka 'givenality' bila vifungua semi.
• Password: Weka password ya e-mail yako. tiki kwenye "Remember Password" kama unataka username na password ulizoweka zikumbuke muda wowote ambao utafungua Outlook 2007.

Note: Kama mail provider wako ni either yahoo.com, rocketmail.com, au ymail.com basi incoming na outgoing settings ni hizi hapa:

• Incoming Mail Server pop.mail.yahoo.com
• Outgoing Mail Server smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Kama mail server yako itahitaji SMTP Authentication, fuata hatua hizi.Kama hauna uhakika iwapo mail server imahitaji SMTP Authentication, tafadhali wasiliana nao au ISP wako:

1. Click More Settings.
2. Nenda mpaka kwenye kipengele cha Outgoing Server .
3. Tiki My Outgoing Server requires SMTP Authentication.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish.

Angalizo: Kama unataka kuacha copy za message zako kwenye Yahoo! server pindi unapozifungua kweye Outlook, tafadhali fuata hatua hizi:

1. Baada ya kuazisha/kufungua Outlook nenda kwenye Tools menu halafu chagua Account Settings.
2. Select your account and the click Change.
3. Kwenye window click kweye More Settings. Katika kipengele cha Advanced tiki option ya "Leave a copy of messages on the server."
4. Kisha click OK ili uweze kuhifadhi mabadiliko hayo.

Mtaalam GIVENALITY nashukuru sana kwa tutorial yako. Kinachonitesa toka jana kabla sijapost hapa kuomba msaada nilifanya hizi hatua zote mpaka nikajaribu na kutumia 127.0.0.1 katika outgoing na incoming lakini sijafanikiwa.

Yani hatua zote hizo nimefanya kama ulivyoeleza ila kila inapotaka ku sych emails inatoa erros at step 2/3 kuwa kuna tatizo na inatoa dialog box muda wote kuwa enter your collect email and password wakati hakuna makosa katika yote.

Kinachonitesa ni yahoo tu kwani Gmail na hotmail hazisumbui hata kidogo
