    I have understood of course!
I would rather put it like this:
Computers are machines to help humans solve problems they wouldn't have solved if they didn't have altenative ways."
    ...right?

Nope the sentence stands as it is.
Notice if u repeat readin' the sentence more than 4x while thinkin' it over.it gets even more confusing.

Is it confusing ?0what confuses you in it. Every word is clear, good grammar, very logical. It means what it stands to mean and simply clear. Unless and until words are se t to mean otherwise. If it were in swahili it would confuse, as nowadays word meanings have changed to mean what they even not relate! One may tell you 1kg of meat is sold at "mkono" or buku tano" here it would mean elfu tano, thus, confusing! Bt for this is simple and clear until you come out with new logic there!

The sentence is not confusing at all; it seems very clear to me and carries one part of the truth (incomplete) that computers themselves are sources of some of the problems they help humans to solve.

Aaaah that's right,i think what you mean is the computer itself is the problem to man.

I can relate this with this sentence"The way you see the problem is the problem"
