    according to the local news.,channel 5 ya uingereza, the General Practioners,GP'w are striking against the raised taxes imposed on doctors, by 3%.

    on the government side..doctors are paid more than most of the public servants and should contribute more to their pensions and if the GP's dont want to pay that they are allowed to move to the private sector..further ore the increase is just by 3% from 14% to 17%

    there is however a large percentage of the population who back the doctors strike as they deserve every penny they earn.it is because of the great work that the National health System does that the life expectancy is high and that most people will now start depending on pensions.

    are they punishing doctors for doing their jobs properly??doctors are the brightest people in their country, are trained for the longest time and work many long hours compared to the other civil servants.
    my take..are doctors being under appreciated all over the world??or is it time that medivine be no longer a noble occupation??
