    ..."i trust you!"
is better than "i love you!" bcos,
you may not always trust the person you love but,
you can always love the person you trust.

I half agree. If the love in question is a "familial love" or "plutonic love"i.e love we feel for parents, siblings, friends etc. However if the love is none other than the two aforemention types then it is not true that the people you can always trust are necessarily people you always love

Which is more important? Being trusted or being 100 percent faithful?

Mind you, trust and faithful are not one and the same.

I think they both serve different purposes. You can have confidence in someone's honesty(trust) even when you don't truly love them. You can love someone but deep down you know you don't trust them. If I understand your post well enough, I suppose it depends on the context, if you love the person, say ''I love you'' and if you think re-affirming your trust is what's gonna straighten things, use the phrase ''I trust you''

It's harder to trust than to love. I trust you is definitely stronger!
