    Hivi karibuni nimekutana na neno la mbolea ya Minjingu ambayo inategenezwa mkoani Kilimanjaro. Ningependa kufahamishwa hii ni aina gani ya mbolea, faida zake na athari zake katika kilimo. Zaidi inatumika wakati gani? kwa kupandia au kwa kukuzia mazao. Je inafaa kutumika katika sehemu zipi katika nchi hii.

    sahihisho; minjingu haipo kilimanjaro. Ipo mkoa wa arusha ambao sasa umegawanywa kuwa arusha na manyara. Ni kati ya arusha na babati.

    Shukrani kwa ufafanuzi wa wapi Minjingu ipo.. Lakini swali bado lipo pale pale kama una ufahamu kuhusu mbolea hii itakuwa jambo la msingi ukaliweka hapa.

    tazama google utapata taarifa ifuatayo (licha ya zingine chini ya minjingu...):

    Rock phosphate fertilizer (Minjingu) has a high phosphate content (28-
    32%). It has been found to be a cheap source of phosphate fertilizer.
    Phosphorus is good for root development.
    Rock Phosphate has the following advantages:-
    a) Applicable to acidic soils
    b) Natural and environmentally friendly
    c) It has other beneficial minerals
    d) It is cheap and always available
    e) Lasts long in soil ( 5 years )
    f) It releases locked minerals
    g) Stores for long and harmless to the soil
    NB: Recommended rate of Nitrogen fertilizer must be applied at the
    right time of crop growth as Rock Phosphate has no Nitrogen in it.
    Characteristics:
    ¥ Finely ground grayish powder
    ¥ Soluble in soil water
    ¥ Easily absorbed by plant roots
    ¥ Has moderate content of Phosphorus (31% )
