    Unanunua makunduu, unaroweka kwa siku kadhaa kwenye kihondi (3 days), kisha unayapika mpaka yaive kabisa!
    na kubadilika rangi kuwa dark brown! Unaacha Makundu yapoe kisha nayo unayaweka kwenye kihondi chake mpaka kesho yake
    (1 DAY),
    Baada ya hapo unachukua mfuko wa mahindi maarufu kama SAFLET, Unauosha vizuri uhakikishe ni msafi kabisa na haujatoboka mahali, Kifuatacho unajaza yale makunduu kidogo kidogo kwenye ule mfuko wa saflet kisha unaanza kukamua! ili kutenganisha majimaji yanayotoka kwenye makunduu na ile hard material yaani makundu yenyewe(at this stage hatuhitaji ile hard material ila yale maji maji yake tu..yanayoitwa "olea") kwahiyo unaikamua kistadi mpaka iishe na unakuta tayari yameshakaa mkao wa kumixiwa na bidhaa ingine ili upate mbege!
    Bidhaa hiyo ni zao la mbege liitwalo unga wa ulezi. Huu unaupika kama uji wa ulezi hivyo hivyo halafu ukishapoa unaenda kuumix kwenye ile "OLEA"..kumbuka ili mbege iwe kali na yenye ladha nzuri mixture yote ifanyike kwenye Kihondi! , ukishamix unaiache ilale usiku kucha kabla ya kuanza kutumiwa, ..Ile waste products inayopatikana baada ya kukamua makunduu usiitupe ni chakula nzuri sana ya Nguruwe.

    NB:
    1)Makunduu - ni ndizi aina mbalimbali zilizowiva amabazo hutumika kupikia pombe.
    zinapatikana sana masoko ya moshi sijui huko dar!
    2)Kihondi - Ni chombo maalum cha kuwekea pombe kimetengenezwa na gogo kubwa la mti na kinaweza kuweka litre 80 na kuendelea za pombe.
    3)Olea - Ni Juice inayotoka kwenye makunduu kwenye mchakato wa kutengeneza pombe..hii haileweshi!
    Utaalamu huu niliuona kwa bibi yangu(R.i.p) kule old Moshi sango karibu na mjororoni!
