    Kuna matumizi yasiyo halali ya neno bore ktk lugha kiswahili.Ikumbukwe kwamba neno hilo ni la kiingereza likimaanisha a-kuchosha.cha ajabu ni kuwa neno hilo linaambishwa kwa kuongezewa kiambishi ka ili kuzalisha neno boreka likimaanisha kuchoka.upotoshaji huu wa lugha ya kiswahili hadi lini?

    Mkuu watumiaji wengi wa neno hilo boreka hutumia kwa maaana ya kuchoka sanjari na neno la kingereza bore.kwa mfano wako wa bora na best,Je kusema X-PASTER ana maisha bora na X-PASTER ana maisha yaliyobestika yote ni sahihi?

    Nimekuwa nikipata shida sana kujaribu kusahisha watu katika matumizi ya neno 'bore'...kuliko kusema nimeboreka ni mara tukakopa kutoka Kenya wanaosema 'kuboo'...mfano 'acha kuniboo','nimeboeka'...tukiendelea kutumia kuboreka tutaua msamiati fasaha badala ya kuongeza msamiati.

    Ni kiswahili sanifu lakini kamwe haimaanishi kuwa bored na hivyo ni uzembe,uvivu na fikra mlegezo kuendelea kutumia neno boreka tukiwa na maana ya kuwa 'bored'.

    Neno 'bore' lilianzia Chuo Kikuu 'Mlimani' miaka ya mwisho ya sabini na hata mwanzoni mwa miaka ya themanini. Wakati huo mtu akiongea utumbo watu walikuwa wanasema ana'bore' na alitungiwa jina la 'borer'. Neno borer siyo sahihi kwa lugha ya kiingereza, kwani mtu ambaye anawa'bore' watu huitwa kwa kiingereza sahihi 'bore'. Mtu anaweza kusema kwa kiingereza, 'Mr/Mrs/Miss... is a bore'.

    Kwa maana hiyo hilo neno bore halitokani na kiarabu wala kutokana na matumizi yake ya sasa siyo sahihi sana kwa kiingereza. Kuboreka ilikuwa na maana ya 'to be bored' kwa kiswahili. Haikuwa kiswahili sanifu ingawa jamii yetu tuliokuwa Chuoni wakati ule tuliikubali hiyo 'terminology'. Lakini sote tunaelewa kuwa kwenye jamii kama za vyuo, mashuleni, jeshini kuna vilugha huwa vinazaliwa na kuendelezwa na hatimaye kukubalika na hiyo jamii. Kwa waliopitia JKT enzi zetu tulikuwa na lugha zetu na misemo mingi tu. Hata hapa jamvini kuna misemo imezaliwa na inakubalika kutumika hapa.

    Ndivyo lugha inavyokuwa.....likija kuapata mashiko litasanifishwa tu......cha muhimu ni wazungumzaji 'kukubaliana'/'kuelewana'. Kuna nyakati sio rahisi kupata 'mantiki' kwenye lugha. Lugha ni kwa ajili ya mawasiliano.

    Mkuu, mimi nilielewa sana, nini ulikuwa una maanisha, ila lengo langu ni kutaka kuonyesha kuwa neno boreka kwenye lugha ya Kiswahili lipo na lina maana tofauti na hao wanaolitumia.
    Waswahili tunao maneno ambayo tunaweza kuyatumia kwa hali kama hii.

    Kwa mfano tunaweza kutumia neno Udhi Mf: Umeniudhi au Unaniudhi, Kaniudhi, Aliniudhi, au kwa kiswahili cha mtaani; Michosho, mf: jamaa michosho sana yule. (japokuwa neno Udhi kwa kiingereza fasaha ni Annoyance, Disturb, Bore, Grieve,Infuriate, Vex, Worry, Offend, Tire, Harass, or Hurt).

    Vile vile kama unataka kutaja mtu ambaye ame bore, boring person (noun) tunasema: Mchoshi, Mkulivu, Mchovu. au utasema ...jamaa ananichosha tu na mambo yake/simulizi zake.

    Hicho ndio Kiswahili, japokuwa tunakiona kama akipendezi pendezi vile, lakini ndio hivyo inavyopaswa kutumika.

    Kwa kuswahili sahihi ni "kukutwafish"

    Mfano: 'nae yule ananitwafish!'

    Huu msamiati kwangu...kwa hiyo mzizi ni '-twafish' ama '-kutwafish'? Nadra sana (eg Rais etc) neno la kiswahili kumalizika bila 'herufi kuu' (vowels).

    Mzizi ni twafish au tafish ukipenda ongeza 'i' mwishoni. Ni namna ya kulitamka tu. Asili yake ni neno la kiarabu. Kama mushkel au walakin wengi huweka 'i' mwishoni, zote ni sawa
