    Shinyanga, Singida na Tabora, je kuna nini mpaka theluthi mbili ya watoto wa shule za msingi wameshindwa kufaulu mtihani wa darasa la saba?

    Je Wabunge kutoka mikoa hii, mnatuambia nini sisi Wananchi tunaposoma matokeo haya?

    Je mtasingizia uhaba wa fedha, waalimu na vitendea kazi au ujaa uzito wa Wasichana au watoto kutumika kama wafanyakazi?

    Mikoa yenu ina hazina kubwa ya mazao ya chakula na biashara na ongezea madini.

    Sasa ni tathmini gani kwenu kimkoa na kitaifa mtatupa?

    Kama tunafaulisha, basi isingekuwa mambo mabaya namna hi hasa Shinyanga kushika mkia kwa mara ya pili mfululizo.

    Kama ni kufelisha, iweje mikoa mingine inapeta kwa namna? Je mfumo wetu wa elimu una ubaguzi kuwa sehemu fulani zinaneemeka na nyingine zinadumaa?

    Reverend.. lakini tumeambiwa shule za msingi na sekondari zimejengwa nyingi sana karibu kila kata, idadi ya walimu imeongezwa n.k so.. nadhani tunafeulisha!

    Swali ni hivi, je ubora wa mfumo wa elimu ukoje? Je ubora na viwango vya uelewa na ufundishaji wa walimu wetu ukoje?

    Je tukuangalia sababu nyingine kama lishe, maji, umeme, ajira za watoto, afya na miundombinu tunaweza kusema Shinyanga, Singida na Tabora vina uduni wa kila kiotu mpaka watoto washindwe mtihani wa darasa la saba kwa kiwango kikubwa namna hii?

    Hizo ndo faida ya fodafasta. wananchi wanaambiwa wajengemajengo then wapeleke wanafunzi, ingekuwa rahisi hivi basi uarabuni wote wangekuwa juu kielimu. Haya ndo matokeo ya siasa kuingilia elimu.

    hapa manyema aibu tupu ndugu....kufeli darasa la saba ndio foundation stage elimu ndio inaporomoka kwa serikali kuendekeza hanasa badala kuwaongezea walimu posho hakuna equality kwenye kula cake ya taifa nahisi kama kuna sabotage kwa walimu ila niwe mkweli sina uhakika kwa hili

    Hivi kufeli darasa la saba ni kufanyeje? ni kukosa nafasi ya kwenda sekondari ya umma ama? Maana sikumbuki kama nilishawai kupewa cheti kinachoonyesha matokea yangu ya darasa la saba

    Kuna uwezekano mkubwa kuwa wengi wa vijana wetu waliofeli mtihani wa darasa la saba wana tatizo la kujua kusoma na kuandika vizuri. Hivi hawa vijana zaidi ya laki tano kila mwaka tutawapeleka wapi? Kwangu mimi tatizo letu kubwa ni USANII yani utendaji mbovu.

    Ndio maana niliuliza kufeli maana yake ni kukosa nafasi shule ya umma ama? ikiwa ndio maana yake, na kwakua shule nyingi za umma siku izi ni hizi za kata ambazo ni za kutwa, basi kuna uwezekano mkubwa perfomance ya mkoa kwenye elimu ya darasa la saba inategemea idadi ya shule za umma ilizonazo. Probably mikoa uliyoitaja ina shule chache sana za sekondari za umma, na ndio sababu ziko chini kimatokea?

    ..kuna tukio mkoani Mara ambapo viongozi walishangaa kukuta wanafunzi wasiojua kusoma na kuandika ktk moja ya sekondari za kata.

    ..binafsi nadhani huu mpango wa sekondari za kata unawaswaga kwenda sekondari wanafunzi ambao hawako-qualified. sasa sijui utaratibu huu utaendelea mpaka lini.

    ..halafu kinachoogopesha zaidi ni kwamba kuna maeneo wamejizatiti kujenga mpaka form 5 na 6 za kata. lakini ukiangalia hizo O-level walizonazo hazina viwango vya kupasisha wanafunzi kwenda A-level.

    ..kwangu mimi ni bora tukazingatia zaidi VIWANGO/UBORA badala ya IDADI ya shule/wasomi.

    ..ningependa pia kuona tunajielekeza ktk kuwatafutia remedial opportunities wale ambao hawakupasi kwenda form 1 na form 5. kwenye nchi za wenzetu kuna opportunities kama Community colleges etc. hapa kwetu labda VETA ingeweza kusaidia kuwapiga msasa hawa wanafunzi na baadaye kuwapa elimu ya ufundi.

    ..pia ningependa kuona wanafunzi waliopitia mfumo wa VETA wanapatiwa nafasi ya masomi ya ELIMU YA JUU. kama mwanafunzi wa Community College kwa nchi za wenzetu anaweza kufika chuo kikuu, basi hapa kwetu mwanafunzi aliyepitia VETA awe na uwezo wa kuungana na wenzake waliopitia sekondari kufika chuo kikuu.

    Nakuunga mkono kwa asilimia mia moja mkuu. Moja ya matatizo makubwa ya mfumo wetu wa elimu na ambao tumerithi toka kwa Muingereza ni kuweka kipaumbele katika masomo ya darasani na kuipa kisogo elimu ya ufundi. Siku hizi kila mtu anashabikia shahada na vyeti vya kalamu na sio ujuzi wa mhitimu. Elimu ya ufundi inapaswa kurudishwa toka shule ya msingi ukianza na somo la Sanaa, Sayanzi Kimu, Kilimo na hata mpaka useremala. Ni vizuri elimu ya sekondari ikawa ya namna mbili ila zote zenye uzito sawa, ufundi na mainstream academia. Ukweli ni kwamba si kila mtoto aendaye shule ana uwezo wa kufaulu masomo yale ya kukariri na ni vyema tukalitambua hilo na kuanza kuwasaidia toka waliwa wadogo kwa kuwapa ujuzi wa kuwasaidia katika maisha.

    Matatizo mengine ya sekta ya elimu yapo mengi tu kama vile matumizi mabaya na ufinyu wa bajeti, idadi na viwango visivyoridhisha vya walimu pamoja na vitendea kazi.

    It's high time tukaangalia namna gani wenzetu wa nchi za Scandinavia, Ujerumani n.k wanavyothamini elimu ya ufundi na mfumo mzima wa Apprenticeship katika kuendeleza taaluma za vizazi vyao vichanga
