Manchester United put in yet another impressive performance as they drew 0-0 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Louis van Gaal’s side continued where they left off during the demolition of Stoke City and were desperately unlucky not take the three points.
Here are five things we learnt from yesterday’s encounter.
1) Cameron Borthwick-Jackson will keep his place for the rest of the season
The 18-year-old left-back was excellent yet again as he kept both Willian and Pedro in check for the entirety of the 90 minutes. The teenager was brave defensively and looked to get forward when possible.
It was little surprise when he had a hand in the opening goal with his fizzed in cross causing the home defence difficulty before Jesse Lingard scored.
His youth showed in United conceding the equaliser, however, as he failed to hold a defensive line and kept Diego Costa onside.
2) Juan Mata may have saved his United career
Mata was coasting at Manchester United until two weeks ago. He wasn’t having too much of an impact of matches and, with Jose Mourinho likely to arrive in June, it seemed set that the Spaniard would leave the club sooner rather than later.
His move to a central position has seen him come to life in United’s system. He is getting more of the ball, creating chances for others and looking a potentially key cog in United’s system moving into next year.
3) Marouane Fellaini is playing far better than he is given credit for
Fellaini is a scapegoat at Manchester United and unless the club wins a big trophy with him a key member of the team that simply will not change.
This is somewhat unfair as the Belgian has really impressed lately. He is taking far fewer risks on the ball, he is holding possession up well and somewhat vitally he is defending every set-piece confidently with a header away from goal at the near post.
With Morgan Schneiderlin having been overplayed to the point of exhaustion this term, Fellaini’s return to promising form has been welcome.
4) Jesse Lingard is a good squad option
Lingard scored an excellent goal yesterday and has impressed with his infectious work-rate. As an academy graduate supporters are more lenient with him but he can be a good squad option in the future.
Next summer will likely see arrivals, with Antoine Griezmann a good bet, and Lingard won’t be first-choice. However, his skills as a backup player are what makes championship winning teams.
5) Wayne Rooney is set to shine at the European Championships
Rooney has rediscovered his form of late. Whilst he didn’t score yesterday his first-touch was impressive as was his ability to stay as the focal point of United’s attacks.
Like at the back-end of last season United’s skipper is becoming a key figure once more and is set to reclaim his place in the England team ahead of the European Championships.

For what experience you have to judge football coach like that, mpira wa jf doesn't give u a credit to point out what iz not goodness in morinho to fit in man united my friend, u neither a professional player nor a professional coach

Mpaka sasa nashindwa kuwaelewa wanaosema Giggs apewe timu. Sijajua mmeona nn kwa Giggs ktk hichi kipindi ambacho amekuwa kama kocha msaidizi ambacho sisi wengine hatukioni.

Gary Neville alikuwa anapiga kelele sana wakati akiwa mchambuzi,aliwaponda sana makocha hasa LvG huku akiwaelekeza jinsi ya kufanya,now tizama kinachomtokea.

Hapa hatujengi uchumi wa nchi,tunatengeneza timu,tunahitaji mafanikio ndani ya muda mfupi. Ukiacha Mourinho,sijaona kocha mwingine kwasasa anayeweza kutusaidia United.
