East Africa Connection is a not for profit company which aims to promote regional SMEs to access East Africa Common market in furthering regional integration is organizing the Made in East Africa Trade Fair (MEATF) themed Buy East African Build East Africa at Arusha Tanzania in 6th -10th April 2011.
The MEATF 2011 is a Multi - Sectored fair introduced in East Africa for the first time to spearhead the integration efforts and promote the EAC common market within the East African region to exhibit products which are produced in East Africa Only. This years fair is expected to bring on board over 500 Exhibitors from all corners of East Africa partner states. In addition, a thorough marketing and visitor mobilization campaign has been put in place to make sure the targeted 50,000 visitor with purchasing power attend the fair.
The MEATF 2011 aims at:
To sensitization of the East Africa Common Market Protocol
To bring together SMEs from EAC partner states to exhibit their competitive products
To offer a platform for EAC SMEs to learn and exchange skills from counterparts.
To Promote the EAC products to the world market for attraction of exports.
To expose existing investment opportunities in EAC partner states that can be taken by exhibitors and visitors to the event.
To Brand the EAC Products to the world market.
Alongside the MEATF there will be SME workshops and SME partner meetings taking place.
