M.Sc. Scholarship Program in Soil Science, Makerere University, Uganda
Scholarships for pursuing masters studies in soil Science for the nationals of either Uganda or Rwanda at Makerere University
Study Subject: Soil Science
Employer: AGRA
Level: Masters
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to pursue a two year Masters degree in Soil Science tenable at Makerere University. Applicants should be working with either national agricultural research stations, Universities or training institutions.
Candidates will be required to take a formal study leave from their employers and provide evidence of reintegration into their current place of work to support research and development activities in their respective institutions.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be nationals of either Uganda or Rwanda. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with 1st class honors or second class upper degree in Soil Science or related Agricultural Sciences from a recognized University.
Scholarships:
AGRA will grant scholarships to selected candidates on a competitive basis. Female candidates will be given priority for scholarship awards. There will be funding to cover tuition, research expenses and a modest monthly stipend. These details will be provided in the final award letters to successful candidates.
