Scholarship Description:
RUFORUM funded project titled Effect of Uranium Contamination in Selected Tanzanian Agricultural Soils and its Transfer in Food Chains seek to sponsor two candidates (one female and one male) to study M.Sc. degree at SUA this academic year (2011/2012). The first candidate will register and study his/her coursework in the Department of Food Science and Technology for one year and do research on uranium contamination in food chains in Bahi District. The second candidate will register for coursework in the Department of Soil Science and do research on spatial distribution of uranium in selected farms in Bahi District and determine its uptake by plants.
