Local Area Connectio problem

    I have a brand new Dell Optiplex 380 desktop that can't connect on Local Area Connection mode. I've installed and re-installed the provided CDs but still the problem persist. When I use airtel modem it works so pleasantly. Please, help me out!

    connection to LAN or Internet? which are you referring to? if internet on a particular LAN check with LAN Admin for connection settings?

    These scientific jargons are sometimes a big issue to me. What I want to say is when I use that 'cabled' device connected to my 'landline phone' it doesn't work. However with a modem no problem!

    what kind of landline are you using? na cd waliokupa ina jina lipi? kitu kingine, hizi dial up internet access zinahitaji upige namba maalum kutoka kwa landline zenyewe ili upate connection, thus the name
