I woke up this morning to hear a very depressing and demoralizing news that the highly known clique of plunders are to be awarded a colossal amount of over Tshs. 185 billion on the face of our belonging to this poor Nation. What has human kind done to these bunch of goons that see nothing but how to milk this poor country of ours that has over 60 percent of its population living in dire starvation of basic needs! Unfortunately as an insult to all the voters out there, comes after a series of serious election procedures' violations by the Government Municipal directors during the local government elections for mayor seats in those OPPOSITION strongholds yet as the continuation of the hastily common practice to win by all means. Where have the senses of our rulers gone?

As lack of respect of the laws of the country perverse, IMPUNITY continues unabated as a second version of Richmond is at our doors as if an uncharacteristically unhead election pledge in the just ended October elections. The highly anticipated Government acknowledgement of an illegal contract heir "Dowans" a synonymous company to its earlier making "Richmond" that claimed to be registered in the UAE at first before the authorities there denied its existence and later in Costa rica; is a continuation of a failed system that needs an abruptly halt now and not later! Not suprizingly, in our Tanzania this system involves powerful individuals in the political cycle of the ruling party, the Army senior officers plus a strong backup from the unfaithful lawful legal representatives. And to dismantle such a system, a spirited fight from the loyal people within the system needed. Its is obviously under the directives of our top guy to our defendant team at the ICC, a deliberately sabotage of the court proceedings was carried out to award a victory to Dowans on the verdict day!

Though individuals like Hon. Kabwe under the Presidential special committee of Energy and Minerals, decided to maverick his opinion against the rest of us on the issue of Dowans' machine procurement probably sensing what is to follow, majority think what faces the nation currently is the presence a group of Powerful aristocratic individuals that work to protect their corrupt interests at all cost putting the whole issue of INTEGRITY of our government in power questionable since it has all the information plus legal backup regarding the likes of Dowans Plc that could have safeguarded the interests of this Nation and yet the authority chose to loose! Posing bitter resentments in all corners of Tanzanian lives on how on earth a company with fake registration acquired Richmond in the middle of a dispute between the Government and Richmond plc and ends up with Tshs 185 billion pay cheque that surprisingly the bill is endorsed first by the Prime Minister before pacified by our Attorney General even before an appeal is made!

Of recently, we saw the Mayoral elections in Arusha, Kigoma and Mwanza being undemocratically conducted or frustratingly postponed unreasonably to trigger a boycott ambience so as to favor the party in power through the use of either unacceptable force or nontransparent manipulatively manner in the watch of our President whose his own rein in power is highly questionable apart from his wisdom on graft being a condoning conductor of the vice behind the scene. Just recently Hon. Slaa named him a main culprit behind the Dowans saga and we got a mere press report from The state House comparable to Mipasho with lack of substance to deny the allegations.

For any Nation to be in a straight line takes sacrifices and ours has lost direction in the 49 years at helm and needs some form of either an internal or an external push to deter the situation. Historically most of the Western Nations have had passed this sort of phase to be where they are now therefore as patriots, none of us should have a betrayal feelings to the Government that generally has underperformed. It takes courage to account the Government of its deeds, I urge each and everyone to take part in this historically movement that has just begun liberate the country from the reign of corrupt CCM cadres who have forgotten the poor. Whether through exerting the necessary pressure to make the rulers be ashamed of their acts or by blocking them from executing their ill-motives, the collective aim of having reforms on government institutions has to be a goal. A reform movement has to be a part and parcel of each one of us and has to come in the forms of huge peaceful demonstrations that however seem to be unwanted by the Government in power that is read to do anything to suppress them and deprive Tanzanians, the UN accepted right to peaceful demonstrate and express their disapproval of the IMPUNITY practices current underway!

With the way the graft practices from untouchables remain unabated as influenced by the cycle Powerful individuals within our system, we have started to reach a stage where Democracy is having no meaning under the pretext of the way the RULE OF LAW continues to be abused. Unfortunately everyone is aware that we have "kangaroo courts" when it comes to the matters that concern the Government, therefore this option is justified omitted. As a transition towards real democracy under a free society, the concerned citizens through "the power of the people" would have a means to express their disapproval of lack of fairness and accountability whether with or without the consent of the Police force as their given constitutional right to every citizen of Tanzania as a remaining option. However that right is forcefully deprived by state authority that under the confinement of malicious intelligence that is only set to charge on poor demonstrators who try to express their grievances to the Government and NOT on economically sabotage related crimes.

With the current machination of the state organs like the Police force to brutal suppress that democratic right of every citizen even if that means at the cost of lives of the haplessly poor innocent people, an intervention of an Army (ofcourse junior officers loyal to the Republic) through toppling the Government in power will be a remaining OPTION to break the strongly established network of the POWERFUL individuals that plunder the state coffers and also bring back the badly needed ORDER to the state as the RULE OF LAW and ACCOUNTABILITY are concerned. Though this coup option looks unappealing, it can be a crucial ingredients to our Democracy thereafter since a sense of FEAR will remain in minds of our Rulers that they can not do anything they want and MANIPULATE our courts and Parliament and remain UNTOUCHED just like what happened in Ghana decades ago and current enjoys the fruits of a true DEMOCRACY!
