RAFA BENITEZ has urged Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque to be careful with Fernando Torres.
Liverpool ace Torres, who headed the winner in Saturday’s 3-2 win at Portsmouth, has been troubled by hamstring injuries all season.

Boss Benitez wanted his £21.5million striker left out of the squad for Spain’s friendly with England tomorrow.

He needs to protect Torres, 24, having let Robbie Keane re-join Spurs in January.

Benitez said: “It is obvious he is not ready, that can be seen when he plays.

“Every day I see him, sometimes he appears to be at his best and at other times not.”

Spain and Barcelona star Andres Iniesta hopes to repeat one of the best moments of his career against England.

I watched the game last night and i think Rafa is a gonner!! Period... Sometimes its good to kick him out because he has had five years and mambo ni kama kawaida, he is also spoiling atmosphere everytime he sees a big challenge ahead;
