I would like to comment on two things: William's choice of language in this thread and issues of EAC
With all due respect I think the use of broken English, sometimes slang, damages William's credibility and suitability for the position he runs for. Countless gramatical errors in William's posts raise red flag on his ability to pay attention to details. Moreover, non-English JF members can easily feel offended to have their posts answered in the language they seldom understand. William I think your compaign team isn't advising you well on this. Clean, professional, and standard language is a must-have item if the campaign is to yield the desired outcome.
That said I fail to understand William's stand on the pressing issues of the EAC. Personally I would like William and other contenders for the position to answer the following questions to earn my vote:
1) What is economic argument against EAC single currency?
2) Should Tz and other EAC members gain equally from EAC for the EAC to be considered beneficial to Tz?
3) Has the EAC made Tz worse off since its inception in late 90s? If so how?
4) The demise of EAC in 1967 is attributed to counter productive political environment in Tanzania, how does EA parliament going to make sure that the new EAC is here to stay? What policies need to change in the respective member states with that regard?
