A lot of buzz on Facebook and Twitter yesterday over an article that suggested the calendar has been switched meaning your zodiac sign may have changed.
The apparent new changes started in Minneapolis, when the Minneapolis Star Tribute published an article stating our horoscopes are all wrong. According to the article if you thought you were a Scorpio you are really a Libra or if you thought you were a Pisces you are actually an Aquarius and so forth.
The reason for the change? The aritcle says it is because the stars have shifted since the creation of the zodiac 2,000 years ago. The article also included a 13th zodiac sign, Ophiuchus which has always been a constellation, but never considered a zodiac sign.
Many don't know that there are two zodiacs the: Sideral and the Tropical Zodiac. The Sideral is followed traditionally in the Eastern Hemisphere while the Tropical is followed in the Western Hemisphere.
Either way, scientists and astronomers ared debunking this and say your sign is still the same sign.According to the Minnesota Planetarium Society, here is where the real signs of the Zodiac should fall. Get ready for your world to change forever.
Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
Pisces: March 11-April 18.
Aries: April 18-May 13.
Taurus: May 13-June 21.
Gemini: June 21-July 20.
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
