this is certainly in the spirit of the EAC! unilever should stop the nonesence. let the market descide which goods are better.

kenya and south africa are the only two nations in africa that produce enough milk for domestic use and have a surplus to export so it will be very hard for tanzanian milk products to do well in the kenyan market

The problem is not the competition but rather the red tape (protectionism) by the custom or G.o.K guys.

A.F.A.I.K Zimbabwean & Namibian diary companies are exporting their products in the R.S.A market and they are doing well...

am highly impressed with the Tz firm exporting to kenya and causing hysteria on the rival company there. kumbe tunaweza. and this means kila sekta tukiwa serious wakenya tunawapiga chini. na ili hili litokee, we have to do it...u can't score a goal without shooting on goal. Go Bongo Go! Your only fear is lack of confidence

    speaking as a businessman........

i think there is a real issue of trademark here that some of you are overlooking. any businessman would be crazy not to take action

unilever is not afraid, it has more money more assets and they cover a large market than the tanzanian company and they can use that financial muscle to kill the ambitions of the company from tanga.

    speaking as a consumer.........

the more the competition the better for my wallet therefore i welcome the company from tanga. competition can only be good.

Of all the countries involved in the EAC Kenya is more than willing na wanataka saana huo muungano. We really have to pull up our socks and be ready for the competition. Nimeshukuru sana kwa hii thread mana I was not aware kua wame impose Competition kwa Wakenya mpaka ku react' and am proud of those Tanga products na kazi wanafanya.

    Wait a minute...

Both LUX and Bod lux have been in the market side by side (talking the TZ market), i myself remember using both products for sometime now without any confusion. It is like Pepsi cola and Coca cola.

The time is now for the dinosour (Unilever) to be extinct....:smile-big:
