Kenya - shortage of teachers!!!

The Quonruerer - alarm on you! What kind of Ethics is that?

Let me go ahead.
English is just a langauage!! One can master it well, but fail to comply with TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND SUBJECT CONTENTS, and these might the bigest challenges to Kenyan teacher. They are pround as they are comptetent in teaching language. Unfortunately, Tanzanians trust someone who master language, NOT CONTENT AND METHODOLOGIES.

If you remembered about teacher preparatiom dimensions used to prepare teachers previosly (in 1990's) you will accept the following description:
Tanzania prepared teacher, fistly, rich in subject content with no teaching methodologies, this produced failures. Later on system changed, teachers were prepared basing on teanching methodologies, with no subject mattet, this also didn't produce desired results. Currently, teachers are prepared on both teaching methodologies and subject matter, still there is apparent failures due to poor working environment.

Due to change in teaching pespective, that is, from teacher centered (totalitarian) to learner centered (democratic), even a teacher with relatively low competence in teaching language, can master teaching. The simplicity of teaching/ learning will brought about by using teaching aids and learners participation.
ONE CAN MASTER LANGUAGE WITH IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME IF THERE IS WILLINGES, BUT CONTENT AND TEACHING METHODOLOGIES IS NOT EASSY!!
