Rwandan President is calling for the Kenyan army to step in and stop the senseless killings. He argues that when institutions have failed to protect the people the only institution that should have the last say is the army.

The former rebel turned president says at a time when there is so much bloodshed a suggestion for an army intervention should not be seen as radicalized.

Hint: Ole wake Kibaki aende Ethiopia kwenye meeting ya AU, It is a possible day(just speculation)

The military belongs in the barracks period!!!

What barracks?!! The military intervention in Kenya situation is more than important now. Kibaki has violeted the democratic procedures, then the only solution is the army to take charge.
Kibaki is the stupid mzee in East Africa now; shamelessly clinging in power. He is riding Kenya in Somalia way..surely Kenyans pride is robbed..Poleni Wakenya..sisi kukataa EAF fast tracking mkatulaumu, mmeona logic yetu ati ee...Huyo mzee atolewe kwa jeshi na uchaguzi urudiwe.Mtu yeye amefika kufa(age 71+) anataka afe na wengi!

Ndugu zangu, the era of military to be in control is over. For sure it is the easiest way to stop the killings, lakini wanajeshi wakiingia madarakani ni jambo baya sana, kwanza watasimamisha katiba na wataelata kipindi wanachoita cha mpito cha miaka mitano kabla uchaguzi huru haujafanyika, then kipindi hicho kikiisha, wao wenyewe wanavua magwanda na kuanza kutawala kipindi cha kwanza wakiwa civilians (watashinda tu uchaguzi hata na kwa kuwa wao ni jeshi,[sio luo or Kikuyu] hakuna atakayewapinga, na baada ya cha kwanza kwisha wanaingia cha pili, na wataendelea kurithishana, and Kenya itakuwa ya jeshi.
Kagame anacheza,

Oya Kaka heshima yako upewe,

Mie nikisema the military belongs to the barracks najua ninachosema kulingana na siasa za Kenya.Hio military iki-take over itakua ni Kibaki tena kupitita mlango wa nyuma. He can manipulate the military to take over so as to rule by proxy...nd'o maana nasema wabaki kambini. It is the kenyan people, the masses who need to take over.
Hakudhania hili bomu litalipuka Kenya nzima na the police will be stretched too thin. The exact scenario playing itself out as we speak.
State of Emergency and then rule by martial law.Hapo nd'o hio army inaingia barabarani. Kama army ingekua independent and with the interests of Kenyans at heart wangekua wamefanya hivyo kitambo sana...immediately Kibaki was announced the winner and that fake swearing in ceremony...hapo nd'o wangefanya kweli. As it is, they are getting their instructions from Ikulu. Amri yenyewe unafikiri ilitoka wapi? The top officers in the Kenya army are already compromised.Wale junior ranks nd'o wako na watu na they don't have enuff clout as it is.Kwa hapo nadhani umenipata.

P.S. I hate Kibaki with a passion.Kama ulivyosema ni mzee tu sana and he needs to be in a nursing home using diapers.Nadhani jamaa hujikojolea akiwa amekaa.

Kagame anacheza,

Well articulated bro.Need I say more?

I support Kagame's idea. Wananchi wa KEnya wanataabika na wengine wanakufa...why don't we have a sensible coup? Si ndicho alichokifanya Kibaki.

Unabii unakaribia kutimia.
Nilitaja siku nyingi interest za mataifa kadhaa. Sasa Kagame kaamka baada ya kujifanya kalala. His has more reason than one to intervene. Lets keep our ears on the ground; hakuna kitu tumeona bado...

But can this be a solution? at least a reliable one????

I think it will help to stop the senseless killing. The only problem with the army, judging from history especially with Nigeria as a case example, is when they decide to convert themselves into civil politicians. Otherwise, this could be the most viable solution for now and for this I want to say a big thank you to Kagame.

But this is exactly what Kibaki has done. Hivi unafikiri kama tungesubiri demokrasia kule Rwanda 1994 tungekuwa wapi sasa hivi? What is happening in Kenya is slowly but surely sliding towards the direction of the 1994 Rwanda genocide. Sasa mnataka tusibiri tena watu wafe malaki ndio hatua zichukuliwe? Historia inatuonyesha kuwa mauaji yaliyowahi kuleta demokrasia ni yale yaliyohusisha wananchi na state organs sio wananchi kwa wananchi wenyewe, and this is the sad story for Kenya.

Africa's past experiences with Coups, have proven that nothing good comes out of a military Government. The civilians will suffer even more. Democracy, Independent judiciary and transparency is what we really need, in AFRICA. What we do not need is the TICK/KUPE mentality to "nyakua", and not stop till we burst. GREED is our undoing. We can all cry but change must begin from US. What we need to fight also is the Big Man Syndrome. The government has to be accountable to the masses. Other young democracies have managed their economies, but not the ones in AFRICA. We should not feel offended when other societies/Cultures (read Western world)refer to US as savages, dark continet etc... They are gong by what they see us mete out to each other.
