He claims to be the most popular Presidential candidate in Kenya. However, an economic analysis of his candidature depicts a weak- personality, unable to prevail up on his MPs to obey the law, weak on foreign policy with little understanding of the link between foreign policy and trade and quick to cover up his friends’ scandals; a person who has no respect for local institutions of governance. Is he then then fit to be President?

mwathai, it is so narrow to centre all rhetoric around one candidate in the wake of diversity and in this modern era. And the diversity I am speaking about is such rhetoric is limiting Kenya's capacity to produce presidential candidates. I have managed to see the profile of part of aspiring presidential candidates. One thing is conspicuous, the age factor and middle age aspirants have taken the bold step forward. This is encouraging. The number of candidates running for office has risen from the previous number. Number of parties has also risen. We should accept this diversity. All politics of antagonism is overshadowing these factors. And the more we advance from this stage the better
