Is Dr. Slaa/Chadema against Free Market in Tanzania?

Pia tatizo la wasomi wetu hawa practice tranfer of knowledge wao wana copy na ku paste bila kuangalia context..Kwa wenzetu wakisema quota policy ya maziwa mfano mwanafunzi anayesoma policy in agric and dev anaona hiyo chain katika uhalisia na anaweza ku trace maziwa kutoka farm mpaka supermarket hapo hapo kwao...sisi huku tunamfundisha mwanafunzi wetu mfano huo huo wa qota ya maziwa ya EU for example ila tu kwenye sehemu ya nchi tuna pachika jina la Tanzania. Inapokuja kwenye kuelewa basi craming capacity ndo inatofautisha wanafunzi wetu na siyo understanding and how applicable is that policy...So hiyo product ndo inakuja kuwa policy oficer wizarani ambaye ndiyo practical person akipewa assignment anachanganya craming aliyoifanya na kuongezea na google literatures alafu anapeleka policy document...ukiangalia kilicho andikwa humo na ambacho kinakuwa practiced on ground ni mbingu na dunia...So vitu vingi viko in abstract ukilinganisha theory na what we daily practice na ndiyo maana ukiona mtu anatoa mfano wa free market ni michanganyo kwa kwenda mbele...

Hivi ndio vitu vilvyo practical,formula zako ziko very theoretical na hazitake into consideration the real life of tanzanians.Na hiyo quota policy unayozungumzia,is something that cant be practised in Tanzania so i dont see how can anybody paste tanzania over EU.

What's so hard to understand?....a good government can always counter attack by helping the majority not the bussiness community.Bussiness tax breaks doesnt help the poor, it helps the rich.OKAY,now that sugar prices are stable,do you think you won?Hell naw! it's the bussiness community that won,but you wont understand that cos you are so stuck to that Eu crap!(oops! ma bad)

I think it's about time you quit talking and asking about who really owns dowans,thats irrelevant of the whole issue and is against what your party stands for.Let the market works on itself and try to mobilise Tanzanians to participate in free market.The dowans saga was actually facilitated by your findings which lacked a concrete case,and was used by our weak govt to revoke a legally bound contract,the result,power shedding and over 60m$ loss to the govt and hence people of Tanzania.We really didnt have to do that!
Our govt didnt even pay dowans 24m$ that resulted from them providing electricity to our national grid for 9 months,thats unfair and evil,and it really discourage investment.

Mr. Kobelo, what are you elaborating about? Do you have some background understanding about Political? Economy? Laws? When you figure out about somebody you have to deal with her/his profession. Law professionals are Authenticate people (evidence must be provided) , you know what I mean?

Firs,let me remind dr slaa that CDMs constitution supports free market.Free market is controlle mainly by forces of demand and supply Having said that,I find it weird when you criticize the government for not controlling the ongoing food price hikes esp. sugar.Dont you think that the market regulates itself based on consumer's demand?because by you complaining,you made our weak government ease import tarrifs and invade the market by ordering tens of thousands of tonnes of sugar just to lower the price.This affected government revenues and stimulated a fake,subsidized economy that most African countries relies on.
Second,in a free market system and even in international politicoeconomic arena,a public corporation is owned by the public,that is to say the people.But private corporations are owned by private individual(s) and they stand alone as an organisation.LET ME CLARIFY MY POINT,a corporation per se is a PERSON! a corporation is different from the owner(s),a corporation has the rights as a person regardless of who owns it,a corporation can sue or be sued,you can't insist on who owns that corporation,you deal with a corporation as a person,you don't deal with a person as a corporation.

"Free Market" is not really free as the phrase says because Free Market needs some control by applying of purposely set regulations and/or laws by Governments especially when economy overheats or overcools or backward. Monopolies of product pricing by individual companies or in a group should be regulated and checked. From China to Egypt to TZ to USA etc governement are looking for ways either to slow down economies by controlling money markets, stocks and increasing borrowing rates in the banks etc in order to curb inflation and avoid economic "bubble", or governments fire-up economies by lowering borrowing rates in the banks or offer stimulus etc to stimulate demand.

I don't see a point why we shouldn't call it "free market" when we increase import duty on Chinese shoes for example, in order to slow supply from China while we are encouraging local manufacturers. It will still be free market when we ask GOLD mining companies to pay more tax to government whenever world-market gold-price is above say usd1000/oz. Free market will always be regulated, and it doesn't mean regulators are against free market but rather regulators - governments- do that to help the people (consumers) and investors while at the same time maintaning a healthy economy and peace. Free market should be in harmony with the people, and governments works to facillitate that. In fact CDM have shown us that it is for free market, and Mr. Slaa did the right thing to criticize the CCM government for not taking appropriate actions to curb high food prices (inflation) on time. In your case, put in mind that sugar suppliers for example can collude and hike pricing or create unecessary high demad by regulating supply - and that practice should be regulated by Govenment in order to maintain healthy 'free market' or check inflation.

Huwezi kutetea freemarket economy ikiwa leo Zakaria tu ndiye mwenye kibali cha kuagiza sukari toka nje na pia ndiye supplier wa ndani na analindwa pasipo ushindani wala kujali freemarket inafanyakazi vipi?.
Na ukitazama kwa mapana mfumo huu unawezekana tu pale ambapo uzalishaji
unaweza kukidhi mahitaji kwa maana kwamba supply inafuatana na demand iliyopo..
Sasa njoo Tz sisi uwezo wa kuzalisha hatuna na gharama za uzalishaji ni kubwa kuliko hata huko nje, hivyo tunachotegemea zaidi ni imports ambazo wafanyabiashara wakifikisha mali zao nchni ushuru wake ni ghali kuliko hata bei alonunulia huko nje, na at the same time robo tatu ya ushuru huo waliotozwa, unaingia mifukoni mwa wafanyakazi wa TRA..
Haya mambo hakuna nchi za wenzetu wao waliisha jipanga kiasi kwamba freemarket ina flow na system nzina ya maisha yao..

Mkuu wangu sukari hatuna na uzalishaji wa nchini unalengalenga tena mbaya zaidi tunapohamasisha kilimo kwanza, wakulima wanavuta maji toka mito inayopeleka maji ktk mabwawa ya nguvu za umeme kama vile Mtera kwenda kuhudumia mashamba ya wawekezaji, kisha tunadai ati mvua hazitoshi ni bora tuwakubalie Dowans kina RA na EL wasioshiba utajiri.. Na waliolewa madaraka kama kina Mubarak na masultan wengineo.

Dr. Slaa ni mmoja wa viongozi bora sana nchi na imedhihirisha wazi pale wasomi wanapomkubali na walalahoi kukikubali chama CDM, mjumuiko huu unamtengeneza Dr. Slaa na CDM, hivyo kila CCM wanapojalibu kumpaka au kuwakwamisha ndivyo wanavyowazidishia umaarufu.
