Iran nuclear plans 'revealed' on Web site!

Online news site publishes what it says are Iran's nuclear proposals
The proposals have not officially been released to the public and
Document says Iran "prepared to enter into dialogue and negotiation"

(CNN) -- An online news organization has published what it said is a copy of Iran's proposals to the United Nations which were supposed to address international concerns about its nuclear program.

This week, Iran distributed its proposals to the diplomatic representatives of the U.N. Security Council's five permanent members, plus Germany.

The proposals have not been released to the public and CNN cannot independently verify that the five-page document on ProPublica.org is the actual proposal submitted to the U.N.

ProPublica.org describes itself as an independent news organization that "produces investigative journalism in the public interest."

The United States -- one of the permanent members, or "P-5" -- believes Iran's proposals are "not really responsive" to the concerns about its nuclear program, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Thursday.

The United States has accused Tehran of concealing a nuclear weapons program. The Islamic republic insists its program is strictly for civilian power.

In the document on ProPublica's Web site -- titled "Cooperation for Peace, Justice, and Progress" -- Iran does not address its own nuclear program, offering vague notions instead.

"The Iranian nation is prepared to enter into dialogue and negotiation in order to lay the ground for lasting peace and regionally inspired and generated stability for the region and beyond and the continued progress and prosperity of the nations of the region and the world," one passage states.

U.S. President Barack Obama has promised diplomatic engagement with Tehran, but has warned that the world will not "wait indefinitely" and allow Iran to build nuclear weapons

The document on ProPublica.org only mentions specific nuclear issues on two occasions: to restate Iran's desire to reform the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Iran insists it has the right under the 1968 Non-Proliferation Treaty to produce nuclear fuel for civilian power, which it says is the goal of its work. But the United States has accused Iran of trying to conceal work toward a nuclear weapon, and the IAEA reported earlier this year that Iran's work had "military dimensions."

Crowley said Washington remains interested in direct talks with Iran on a number of issues. But he said Tehran's latest proposals continue to insist that its nuclear file is "closed."

"That is certainly not the case," he said.

Iran has failed to clear up questions about the goals of its nuclear program with the IAEA, Crowley said, and it has defied a Security Council demand that it halt its production of enriched uranium.

U.S. diplomats have discussed Iran's proposals with the other permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany -- the "P-5 Plus One" -- and will talk with them again Friday.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs would not specifically address the most recent proposals, saying "the offer is still being evaluated by the P-5 Plus One."
"I would say Iran's proposals have time and again failed to live up to its international obligations," Gibbs said Thursday.

Iran's state-run media said the list of proposals submitted to the United States, China, France, Russia, Britain and Germany addressed "global issues" including suggestions on its nuclear program.

IAEA Director-General Mohamed ElBaradei said Monday that Iran has reached a "stalemate" with the watchdog agency.

Has Iran ever said even one truth?

Iran is like a poisonous snake waiting to bite someone.

Hawa Wairan wanafiki, wanajifanya wanashirikiana na UN huku wakiendeleza mpango wa nuclear ambao unaweza kuja kuleta maangamizi ya kutisha miaka ijayo!

The hypocrisy in this world defies any logical explanation. Western countries have nuclear weapons, no one says a thing. India, Pakistan have them, it is not a big issue. Israel has nuclear weapons, it is an open secret, but no one dares to talk about it. Iran is developing nuclear technology (regardless to where it is leading to), everyone is crying foul! Why wont everyone scrape their nuclear weapons so that we can all breathe sighs of relief?

It would not have been an issue if Iran had not threatened to “wipe out” other nations on the face of the Earth.

If Iranian were ‘sober’ no one would me making a fuss of their intention, but the fact remains that they are not sober and their intention for acquiring nucleus is evil. What else do you want the international community to do? Keep Quite and watch Iranian fulfilling their crazy ideas?
Prevention is always better that cure. Somebody out there should take a bold step by taking pre-emptive strike on their nuclear facility; this will make the world safer which is what we all need.

The ones that claim were threatened to be wiped out of the face of the earth, are the ones who have been threatening to push and drown others into the sea, (they are actually doing it right now) yet no one talks about it. Are these people 'sober'? Yet they have nuclear weapons, there is ample evidence they have used weapons of mass destruction on civilian populations. By the way, do you know what is the 'international community'? Believe me, it is neither you nor me, but it is those who want to control the world and build a new world order. Open your eyes and ears, and do not become infected by the 'international community's media.

Dingswayo; I think you are missing something either here.
Who is the aggressor here? Who does not want to recognize the existence Israel apart from its neighbours? Who up to this day has refused to recognize the existence of Israel and are fighting to push them into the Mediterranean Sea. Which other country in the whole wide word has ever been attacked by all its neighbours and refrained from using weapons of mass destruction? And you think they are not sober?

These guys are trying their best to live with their neighbours but for ‘some reasons’ the neighbours don’t want them. What else do you want them to do? Sit down, keep quite and wait to be wiped brutalises and killed? Don they have the right to live peacefully? Don’t they have the right to defend themselves?. Please lets be objective and look at the other side of the coin.

Do you think is ethical for a mental unbalance person (state) to hold a 42 caliber, while pointing at someone?

israel stinks!

And you think Iran smells rose?

If you want to know what really stinks, is Ahmadinajad’s crazy Policy of Violence, and pre meditated mass murder.

Who does he think he is, and who is he representing…?, sure he does not represent the will of Iranian people because they voted him out.

This Hitler Mentality is very dangerous to the peace of the world, if the world does not take mad man serious and take care of him personally, it will be very dangerous for the peace of the world.

The only suitable place for this chap is to be tried in the Hague like any other war criminals.
