    Hi Kchibo

    Laptops,Notebooks and Netbooks

Hizi zote kazi zinafanana na tofauti zake ni ndogo sana,

Bare in mind ni vifaa vyenye sehemu kuu mbili Screen and Keyboard attached together by hinges

Inakua ni rahisi kushika/kubeba and you can make it mobile(kutembea nayo hata kwenye pochi ama kamkoba kadogo)
    Bei pia ni chini

So just go for netbook pal

[h=1]Which is Right for You: Netbook or Notebook?[/h]
Netbooks are ultra-light, ultra-affordable, and easy to carry. Notebooks are full-sized, full-performance-and full-priced. Here's what you'll need to know to make the savviest and most cost-effective choice.

[h=3]Light vs. Ultralight[/h]Both styles of PC are designed for easy travel, yet there's a notable difference between the lighter-than-air netbooksand the more substantial notebooks.
[h=3]Netbooks[/h]Netbooks are all about computing on the move. Weighing less than three pounds, with screens that are 12 inches or smaller, a netbook can be tossed easily into a backpack or purse, or even carried comfortably in one hand. If you lug your machine around all day long, that's a major consideration.
Netbooks are leaner, and better suited to web-based usage, as they rarely have a CD or DVD drive. Their processors make them both energy-efficient and power-conscious, but that also means they're designed to run fewer programs simultaneously.
If you have a web-driven lifestyle, such as blogging for work or pleasure, netbooks are a sleek way to go. Less hardware means less power drain, so netbooks have a longer battery life, lasting up to twelve hours without a charge. If an ultra-light machine can handle your needs, it's definitely the better choice.
[h=3]Notebooks[/h]Notebooks are more substantial, with larger keyboards and screens, built-in DVD drives, and more computing strength. With a weight starting at about five pounds, notebooks are built with the heft to edit massive video files, create graphics, or manage large music libraries. Keep in mind that more tech muscle requires more human muscle (to carry) and electric muscle (to power).
The larger hard drive of a notebook delivers power and speed, capable of storing huge amounts of content while easily running multiple data-heavy programs. If your priority is strength over convenience, then notebooks are the best.
[h=3]LCD vs. Battery Life[/h]There's a clear trade-off between the size of the LCD screen and the length of battery life. If a large screen is your main priority, notebooks are for you. Just remember that increased screen size has a corresponding battery drain, too.
[h=3]Power vs. Convenience: The Choice Is Yours[/h]Are you creating content or consuming it? If you need a machine that offers "heavy lifting" in terms of performance, you need a notebook. If your lifestyle allows you to travel lightly, then netbooks are the best choice for you.

External rotary rom(cd/dvd) zipo nyingi tu,for a netbook kua na hizo rom inaamia kwenye notebook sasa,
cd/dvd ni 12cm in diameter, ukiweka na housing case inachukua eneo kubwa na inaongeza vibration inapunguza the actual meaning ya netbook(comfortability compared to the like) + draining battery
as in netbook ukiitumia kawaida contast ikiwa minimal unaweza tumia 12 hrs bila kuchaj

yeah, the difference in notebooks, netbooks and laptops ni ndogo sana. (at the risk of being repetitive), tofauti sana sana ni raw horse power, power management, weight na screen size. unaponunua moja, u trade one thing for another (ukichukua netbooks na notebooks, unapata charge ya kutosha ila unakosa screensize ya kutosha na processor power).
ila kuna a third option ambayo hamna mtu aliyetaja. u see, while laptops zinakuja na high ended processors (core, core duo, quad core, i3, i5, i7, phenom, athlon, x2, a4) notebooks zina low based processors (atom na fusion) ili kusaidia kumanage moto na ofcoz zinakosa other better hardware kama cdroms, more ram vga. this ofcourse ni ili ziwe more portable. screen prices pia zinakuwa smaller to make them even more light and portable (laptops zina range from 15.6" to 21'' while notebooks na netbooks zina range from 10-12"). sasa hapo ndipo intel waliona kwamba there must be a better way to combine the best of both worlds (power and size) na ndipo ultrabooks zinatokea

ultrabooks, kutumia maneno ya wiki ni: Ultrabook is a higher-end type of subnotebook defined by Intel. Ultrabooks are designed to feature reduced size (less than 2.1 cm thick) and weight (usually less than 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs)) without compromising performance and battery life. They use low-power Intel processors with integrated graphics andunibody chassis to fit larger batteries into smaller cases.
Hivi basi, ultrabooksni notebook yenye uwezo wa laptop na udogo wa notebook. zina nguvu ya kutosha na ni portable balaa. lakini, for all that, be prepared to pay a higher than norm price for these litle beauties.
nakumbuka mwaka jana i bought an hp envy 4 ambayo ilikuwa i5 core, 12" display, 4gb ram, ati premier card, 500gb ram, 128gb ssd. kama unavyo ona, hizo sio specs za kitoto, ila nayo i paid around 900$ na ilikuwa used. nilikuja kuiuza baadaye coz nilitaka kuingia chuo but thats another story
    :focus:

so mkuu, if you have the money, tafutana na ultrabook, hizo mashine ni zaidi ya splendid. if not, mie simshauri mtu yeyote anunue netbooks au notebooks (pieces of **** imo), bora ununue an older model ya laptop (duo core na core zina price range almost sawa na notebooks)
    regards leh
