    Jerry alikopa TShs 1.5 milioni na kulipa 1.0 million, hivyo kubaki na deni la 0.5 milioni mwezi february mwaka 2009; kwa hiyo principal ilkikuwa TShs 0.5 milioni. Hesabu zinazonitatanisha hapa ni kuwa leo hii baada ya miezi 21 huyu bwana anadaiwa 15 m, yaani interest imefikia kiasi cha TShs 14.5 milioni. Kwa mahesabu ya simple interest rates, kila mwezi alitakiwa kulipa interest ya Tsh 0.67m katika rate ya 584.95% kwa mwaka ambayo ni zaid ya principal yenyewe. Na hata kama ukitumia compound interest rate, ina maana kuwa APR ni 208.7% akitakiwa kulipa kila mwezi. Huo ni uchumi na namna gani jamani, mbona nabakai mdomo wazi.

    Coz najua wafanyabiashara wanatabia ya kuweka interest ya juu sana kama wakijua wanashida.
    Unaweza hata kuambiwa baada ya mwezi kupita kama hujamaliza deni langu utalipa interest ya 20% kwa siku ya hela iliyobaki au kwa hela yote nlokukopa!

    Hizi ni scenario za kawaida kabisa! Hasa Kariakoo na Tunduma!
    So siwezi kusema lolote kuhusiana na hiyo kesi yako!

    tunatakiwa kujua ni mkopo wenye makubaliano yapi kuna mikopo mingine inaweza kuwa inakikomo cha kulipa na ukizidisha unaanza kulipa interest rates na faini juu yake

    Yote kwa yote ni kwamba interest rates kwenye taasisi zinazokopesha kama pride, finca, ile ya mama mkapa, etc ni za ki-mfirisi... tatizo ni kwamba wakopaji wanakubaliana nayo (obvious bila kujua implication za interest mfano mtu anakopa 1m halafu anatakiwa kila mwezi alipe interest ya laki moja) interest rate ya namna hii ni 120%!!!! Hakuna benki linalotoza rates za namna hii.. tatizo ni kwamba mabenki hayaingiliki kwa wajasilia mali kama wakina mimi kwa hiyo Jerry itabidi atafute ushauri wa kisheria kama kuna protection vinginevyo amekwisha!

    This is how a developed country dealt with such an issue:
    Haya...je sisi tunalindaje consumers? Mnaona tofauti ya kuendelea na kuwa nchi inayoendelea? Maendeleo sio majengo au barabara. Maendeleo ni kuwa na sheria zinazojenga, kuwezesha na kumwi-encourage mwananchi aweze ishi na ku-productive.
