In a Land Not Named: A Clowns' Paradise

'Stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy,' President Barack Obama told Congress in a jobs speech last September

mzee mwanakijiji nafikiri serikali yeyote inaharibika kutokana na kutopewa changamoto na wanaongozwa...most governments mirror their societies...vibrant, energetic and demanding populance creates a likewise govt, though politics will still play a part, but workable solutions to that society's common grievances will be implemented..

Kenya is in transition so a bit prematurily to judge, nevertheless what they ve created was pushed by majority of its people. The resignation of cameroonians in the struggle to control their destiny is reflected in Paul Biya's 30+ years of irresponsible opportunistic-canibal rule. Berlusconi and his antics could not last a month in office in anglo-saxon Uk or US, but ruled Italy for long enough only to be brought down not by scandals but the state of the economy-here u can say his govt was the product of Italians themselves or his govt and his leadership style mirrored the italian society as a whole....Hii serikali yetu ni direct product ya watanzania uvivu wetu wa kufikiri, unafiki wetu wa kusema hiki na kufanya kile, uoga wetu wa kuamua mambo muhimu, kutosheka kwetu na kitu kidogo wakati kuna uwezo wa kufanya makubwa, umaskini wetu unaochochea kufikiria kwa tumbo, dispositioned loyalty kuamini tu kikwete ndiyo aliyetakiwa kuwa Rais 95 lazima awe rais 2005 bila kumjaji miaka 10 yake toka 95 alifanya nini, ushamba na uswahili wetu wa kudanganyika na kurubuniwa kirahisi na viahadi, udini na ukabila wetu wa kichini chini ambao hatutaki kuamini kuwa upo etc etc society kama hii haiwezi pata serikali imara au viongozi bora hata wakitokea (sokoine, Nyerere etc) hawataikomboa hii nchi katika kipindi kifupi na katika mazingira tuliyonayo.

these clowns are horrible, no one in the audience is laughing or even smiling, but the clowns will keep on trying as the audience looks timid while seated stiffly clapping occasionally in their efforts to save face of their clowns...after all this is a clown country.

Classic! Everything mentioned is true and the sad thing is the clowns have been doing it for so long and they performance have gotten worse with time, now they don't even put any effort in their mockery hence an abysmal performance!

And when these current clowns retire..more new clowns are 'drafted' in(?). After all the 'show' must go on right??

Not really! Clowns don't worry about what other clowns do.

what if among these clowns....there are some who are not really clowns......
but they pretend to be clowns......since that is the only way of being accepted it the Conferences of Clowns Movements???

what if these Clowns Pretenders who are not really clowns hate the real clowns???

what if these clowns pretenders are waiting for the right time to do something serious in the land of clowns?

that will change the way clowns do their everyday routines???????

what if that time is near???

what if among those clowns there are so many different groups of clowns....that it is dangerous now even to be a clown?

what if????????

Indeed! It started like a non clown organization headed by a leader hating clowning. It was True Answer for Non-clowning Unity! After evolution, where an Attributed System of People was added, the clowns started little by little to emerge within it and the name changed to Combating Clown Movement!Fortunately its powerful leader who remained in position even after evolution was there to clear out any clown from it.When the leader left the position other took the post.He was not as strong as the first one to resist clowns!Himself he was transformed to clown and that was the beginning of the Conference of Clowns Movement where by being a clown was the fundamental quality.

Aisee!
True Answer for Non-clown Unity=TANU!

Atributed System of people=ASP

Combating Clowns Movement=CCM (ya Nyerere)

Conference of Clowns movement=CCM,>1985

they are clowns.......they can think anything they want....
do the people think the clowns are special??????

Yes otherwise, why would they keep electing them!

By the way, nimeipitia tena na kuifanyia marekebisho ya lugha na minor additions (for the sake of flavor)

Do you know that clowns think that they are very special?

Every group of people think they are special, otherwise they wouldn't enjoy their camaraderie. Now with regard to clowns you have in mind, one thing is for sure. They have become complacent in recent years. They don't practice their tricks, and they take their audience for granted. They don't seek perfection and correct their mistakes because they believe that they are infallible.

They aren't. Their old tricks are the things of the past, 10, 20 or 30 years ago, when clowning was the only show in town. However, things have changes now. Today young people aren't interested in any art forms that don't produce instant results and glorification. They play video games, and watch international football and all those good stuff.

If clowns want to preserve their dignity, they need to learn fast like gazelle. Their current slow motion is their own undoing. Didn't they see the demise of their brothers in Egypt? The Egyptian clowns were tough, resilient, and brutal. They forced the crowd to attend and watch their shows. However, that didn't help clowning.

Unlike clowns in a land not named, the ones in Egypt had international audience. The West, in particular the Americans, thought that clowning in Egypt was the marvelous achievement of art since the erection of great pyramids about 3000 years ago. As such, for years the West have provided clowns in Egypt assistance to sustain their art form. However, clowning couldn't attract the attention of young people who would rather spend their entire days playing FarmVille on facebook or their mobile devices.

Mnakumbuka the Bandar-Logs? lols
What Baloo had said about the monkeys was perfectly true. They belonged to the tree-tops, and as beasts very seldom look up, there was no occasion for the monkeys and the Jungle People to cross one another's path.

But whenev
er they found a sick wolf, or a wounded tiger or bear, the monkeys would torment him, and would throw sticks and nuts at any beast for fun and in the hope of being noticed. Then they would howl and shriek senseless songs, and invite the Jungle People to climb up their trees and fight them, or would start furious battles over nothing among themselves, and leave the dead monkeys where the Jungle People could see them.

They were always just going to have a leader and laws and customs of their own, but they never did, because their memories would not hold over from day to day, and so they settled things by making up a saying: "What the Bandar-log think now the Jungle will think later"; and that comforted them a great deal. None of the beasts could reach them, but on the other hand none of the beasts would notice them, and that was why they were so pleased when Mowgli came to play with them, and when they heard how angry Baloo was.

They never meant to do any more, - the Bandar-log never mean anything at all, - but one of them invented what seemed to him a brilliant idea, and he told all the others that Mowgli would be a useful person to keep in the tribe, because he could weave sticks together for protection from the wind; so, if they caught him, they could make him teach them.

Of course Mowgli, as a wood-cutter's child, inherited all sorts of instincts, and used to make little play-huts of fallen branches without thinking how he came to do it. The Monkey People, watching in the trees, considered these huts most wonderful. This time, they said, they were really going to have a leader and become the wisest people in the jungle - so wise that every one else would notice and envy them.

Even with clowns, it's a two-way street kind of interaction all the way: which incidentally, begs the question, Who da fool? ( between either of so-called "clowns" and whoever their "audience" happens to be?). And mind you, clowns aren't necessarily dumb and silly as appearances would have it. So, who da fool really?

Whoever is paying to see them or those who keep bringing the clowns back to the circus!

Needless to say, you're here stating the obvious, i.e., clowns have always belonged to the circus, and clowns would always "get paid" according to their entertainment (and/or popularity) value. So why would you (or anyone) have a problem with it?

Well, not everybody loves clowns or clowning!
