It is tooo unproportional to give tanzanian MPs, car loans, free drivers, 45 billions gratuity and 154% salalry increase while 90% of tanzanians heads live below the water!.These 300 Mps are underdeveloping our country. All revenue from TRA, mining sectors and natural gas that were previously meant to improve peoples' well being are being spent on covering the life expensens of MPs. AS a result, we find ourselves having new built secondary schools lacking teachers, teaching materials, good gardens and good surroundings.

154% allowance increase reflect crealy, how selfish these MPs are .we have countless in numbers of high skrapers buildings mushrooming across the big cities, yet our fire department offices have never been stocked with morden rescure equipments from peopleand properties living/working on those skyscrapers. The MPs are not thinking big! morden fire fighter aeroplanes that can fly high to cool off fire, should be a priorities in their minds before 154% selfish allowance increase that they wanted for.

we need speed boats to round up them fishermen practizing imaturity fishing but all money goes to feed 300 MPs!We need emergency ships that would be stationed in almost all big lakes, Nyassa, victoria and tanganyika, to run rescure operation incase nautical disasters happens but all money goes to MPs!

We need money to create jobs that would help with cutting back unemployment rates, but all money goes to MPs! After 60 years of independence, all single parents moms who do not have reliable economic prosperity, should be getting food stamps from the gvt hence make their heads live above the wate, but all money goes to MPs!

With these MPS , can we ever have a better future? we really need Kinjekitile and majimaji rebellion!

The problem is tha lack of political baoundaries, we intertain politics everywhere even in the areas where politicians are not suppose to make decisions, we allow them to decide on behalf of the professional people.
I would rather say, politians are as equal in value as other professional people say a medical doctor, an engineer, a teacher and so on. If we can define these boundaries, I am sure we will have everyone responsible for his area of concentration.

Generally, I agree with you: KIKWAZO NAMBA MOJA CHA MAENDELEO YA TANZANIA NI BUNGE KUTOTIMIZA WAJIBU WAKE WA MSINGI. Over!

Tanzanian MPs car loans, 45 billions gratuty but still they are dying coz pf drivung their car themselves. Money for drivers are not used as proposed.

However our economical stagnation, is highly promoted by having representative who knows nothing about the feelings they voter have, but knows they only feellings.

This is the disaster we have

Ntamaholo you are right talking of selfdriving while Mps are paid allowances to pay for drivers; but at this moment we a moaning the demise of one of our member whom you are now trying to blame for deciding to drive for herself. Please hold on this at this time of sorrow and let us discuss this issue later on.

45 billions is it for a single MP or for all of them?

Tanzania Members of Parliament will pocket a whopping Sh160 (KSh8 million) million each in a record send-off package approved by the treasury last year, it has emerged.

The MPs voted themselves a 274 per cent hike in gratuity, raising the amount paid in lumpsum to each member at the end of every parliament term from Sh43 million (Ksh 2.1 million).

The Citizen has learnt that some of the MPs have already cashed more than half of the amount in loans as they wait for the term of the current parliament to lapse in 2014.TIME FOR PUBLIC AND SOCIAL INTEREST GROUPS TO ACT?
