Most of us don't get enough physical exercise and increasingly we're seeing the consequences of our sedentary lifestyles: obesity, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, among others. And it's hard to imagine why, when just a few minutes of exercise per day can dramatically reduce our risk, we find it so difficult to get moving.

But exercise doesn't have to be something else we need to make time for. Very often we have the means to incorporate it into activities we are already doing. And in addition, we'll also reap benefits like improved sleep, mood, concentration, and energy levels.
Just 30 minutes a day of increased activity can lower your risk and make you feel and perform better. It doesn't even have to be 30 minutes at a time – you can do ten minutes at a time! Motivate yourself even more by choosing activities you can do with friends, colleagues or the kids!
Not sure where to start or how to stay motivated? Our library has it all! We even have ideas for those of us who don't have the time or money to work out at a gym!
Just ten minutes…all those benefits…are you game?
