FDLR terrorists elements infiltrated Rwanda from the Democratic Republic of Congo

Kigali, 16 April 2016

During the night of 15-16 April 2016, suspected FDLR terrorists elements infiltrated Rwanda from the Democratic Republic of Congo and attacked a Police Station in Rubavu District, Bugeshi Sector, Kabumba Cell.

The attackers were repelled by National Defence and Security Forces to DRC. The situation on the ground is under full control.

Any development related to the incident will be communicated later.
