back Digne
Jul 13, 2016

services on a five-year deal for an initial fee of
€16.5m, which could rise to €20.5m based on
individual and team-based add-onsBarcelona
have completed the signing for Paris Saint-
Germain defender Lucas Digne after the 22-year-
old agreed a five-year deal at Camp Nou.
Digne has joined the Blaugrana for an initial fee of
€16.5 million which could eventually rise to
€20.5m based on individual and team-based add-
ons.
The full-back becomes Barcelona's second new
arrival from Ligue 1 after Samuel Umtiti completed
his switch from Lyon on Tuesday for €25 million.
"Barcelona have reached an agreement with Paris
Saint-Germain to sign French player Lucas Digne
for the next five seasons," a Barca statement
confirmed.
"Barca have paid an initial 16.5 million euros with
another four possible according to individual and
team results. Digne's buy-out clause is 60 million
euros.

"Lucas Digne will arrive in Barcelona on Thursday
early in the morning local time to undergo a
medical and sign his contract."
Barcelona have inserted a €60 million buyout
clause in Digne's contract, with the Meaux-born
ace set to compete with Jordi Alba for the left-
back spot in head coach Luis Enrique's squad.
Digne emerged through Lille's youth system to
make 60 appearances in all competitions for Les
Dogues, before joining PSG in 2013 for a fee
believed to be in the region of €15 million.
He turned out 43 times for PSG but moved to
Roma on a season-long loan last season after
falling down the pecking order at the Parc des
Princes.
Digne scored three goals in 39 appearances for
Roma to help the Serie A outfit finish third and
secure qualification for this season's Champions
League.

Fernandez relaxed over Messi´s
future at Barcelona

Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez has
no concerns over Lionel Messi's future at the club
following a torrid month for their prized asset.

La Liga president Javier Tebas expressed fears
Messi could seek to leave Spain's top flight as a
result of his conviction, which he is expected to
appeal in the Supreme Court, but Fernandez
insists he and his colleagues at Camp Nou are
relaxed over the superstar forward's status.
"At Barca there is no worry about Messi," he said.
"We want him back training now.
"I didn't talk with Messi yet because he is on
holiday and he has to rest."
Fernandez was speaking at a news conference
alongside Lucas Digne, the full-back who
Barcelona signed from Paris Saint-Germain for an
initial fee of €16.5m on Wednesday.
"It's a great honour to be here, this is the best club
in the world and I'm so proud," said the France
international, who spent last season on loan at
Roma. "This is the start of a great adventure.
"In all great clubs there are great players. Now
I've got more experience, I'm 22 and come from a
great season in Roma. I'm so motivated for play
with the great players of Barcelona.
"That Barcelona wanted to sign me is enormous. I
want to improve every day to get the best from
myself.
"I'm a full-back that likes to go forward, but in
modern football you got to defend too."
Digne is full of admiration for the player with whom
he faces a considerable battle in order to gain a
spot in the first team.
"I have seen many Barcelona matches and I like
Jordi Alba, because he is a modern full-back that
goes forward." he added.

Dr.WHO,

Mimi ManU damu.... haaa haaa haaa!
Hata hivyo natabiri kabla ya mwaka kuanza kuwa mabingwa wa mwaka kesho ni Liverpool!..

nenda kaanzishe thread yako ya man u, sisi sio waingereza sawa bwana?

OFFICIAL: Barcelona to sign
Andre Gomes
Jul 21, 2016
The midfielder has reportedly penned a five-year
deal at the club following an impressive two-
season stint at La Liga rivals Valencia and Euro
2016 campaign with winners Portugal
Barcelona have announced an agreement with
Valencia to sign Portuguese midfielder Andre
Gomes.
Gomes has spent two seasons in La Liga
following his move from Benfica in July 2014.
The 22-year-old played a part as Portugal
claimed a fairytale Euro 2016 success with their
final win over France.

Reports suggest Barcelona paid €40million for
Gomes, who made 30 appearances and scored
three goals in the league last season.
A 13-time Portugal international, Gomes was
apparently also a target for Barca's fierce rivals
Real Madrid.
He is set to become the latest signing for Luis
Enrique in the transfer window, with the head
coach having added the likes of Samuel Umtiti,
Lucas Digne and Denis Suarez to his squad this
off-season.
It presents another significant blow for Madrid,
who have seemingly missed out on Paul Pogba.
The France international has plenty of admirers
at the Santiago Bernabeu, but reports suggest
they are unable to meet his valuation with
Manchester United the apparent front-runners
for his signature.
