    Kizazi cha uhuru ndiyo kinatuaga sasa. Wale waliokuwa watu wazima wakati Africa ikigombea uhuru wanaanza kututoka na wale waliokuwa watoto wakati huo ndiyo wanaelekea uzee sasa. Siyo vibaya tukikumbuka baadhi ya walio pigania uhuru wetu. Japo kama viongozi baadhi walikuwa na makosa yao lakini waliongoza kutokana na hali na tamaduni za wakati huo. Let us start saying good bye if we haven't already to the generation that brought us independence.

    Nelson Mandela-although he didn't actually fight for independence but his fight against apartheid is worth including him.

    If there any more leaders I have not kept feel free to add your pictures of them. If you have any pictures of any events concerning these past leaders feel free to add them. Although they and their ideologies and policies are a thing of the past we should still respect them for being part of one of the most important eras in Africa.

    Mkuu Mwanafalsafa wengine hapo juu ni WATOTO wa the real and original African fathes walioanzisha PAFMECA na OAU.
    Sam Nujoma ,Samora na Mandela hawapaswi kuwa hapo katika uanzilishi na hatimaye fathers wa upiganiaji uhuru.
    Na nikisema hivyo si kwamba hawa si wapigania uhuru ,la hasha, hawa jamaa ni heroes wa upiniaji uhuru katika nchi zao.
    Nyerere ,Kaunda na nchi zetu hizi Tanzania na Zambia , we bore the brunt of the freedom struggle.

    Mimi nadhani Mandela anastahili kabisa kuwa katika kundi la akina Nyerere, Kaunda na Nkrumah. He paid the supreme sacrifice by spending 27 years behind bars.

    Thanks for the advise mkuu. I will do some editing as soon as I can. But Mandela like I said although he didn't fight for independence I believe he just belongs to the same class with these people. Lakini like I said thank s & I will do some editing.

    Nafikiri ni vizuri tu wote wakawepo hapo kwani hawa jamaa wote walipigania katika ukombozi wa bara letu. Nafikiri ni stage tu ndizo zinatofautiana kwa vile nchi nyingine zilipata uhuru mapema kuliko nyingine lakini lengo lilikuwa ni lilelile.

    Ukiangalia nchi kama Msumbiji, Angola na Zimbabwe pamoja na kupata uhuru baadaye lakini wamekuwa na mchango umkubwa sana kwenye ukombozi wa kusini mwa Afrika.
