Cancer is associated with CARCINOGENS-chemical irritants that can produce cancerous lesions over time.

Bile acids are an example.The amount of fat in diet affects the amount of bile the body produces.In the intestinal tract some of these bile acids can form irritating carcinogenic compaunds.The longer these compaunds stay in contact with the lining of the colon,the more irritation results.

This is where Fiber comes in.With a low fiber diet,material move slowly through the intestines,often taking from 72hrs to 5days to complete the journey from entry to exit.Most fibers absorb water like a sponge.This helps fill the intestines and stimulates them to increase activity.With a high fiber diet,food travels through the intestines in 24 to 36hrs.

Thanks for the information Konzongwe, pia katika hayo mambo ya fibre hivi pale mtu anapopata choo kigumu sana au kukaa mda bila kwenda choo ndo inamaanisha hana fibres za kutosha! Na je ni vyakula vipi vizuri atakavyoweza kula ili vimpe choo kizuri. Nina ndugu wengi wenye tatizo hili. Naomba ushauri hapo. Solution:punguza vyakula vya fat nyingi i.e animal products zote na mayai ni hatari.Zidisha vyakula vya matunda na majani because these plant foods are high in fiber,low in fat,and cholesteral,they are the ideal way to go.

Kukaa zaidi ya siku 3 bila kupata haja kubwa sio sawa na tatizo hili huwapata wakina dada wengi,hatujui unakula nini,kama unakunywa maji ya kutosha. Ukinywa maji ya moto glasi 2-3 asubuhi na kula matunda/mboga kwa wingi na kutoruka milo mingine lazima utapata choo angalau kila siku 2.Mi huwa napata kila siku mara zingine hata mara 2 kwa siku.

Katika tafiti za hivi karibuni zimeonyesha ulaji wa starches nyingi unachangia kunenepa zaidi hata ya mafuta[mafuta mabaya ni ya wanyama].Watu wa mediterania[morocco,tunisia,algeria,spain,italy,france,greece etc] wanaongeza vijiko mpaka 3 vya olive au oil ingine ya vegetable kwenye kila mlo[sahani] na hawanenepi.Mihogo ni source nzuri ya fibre.Tule starches lakini sio kwa uwingi sana.
