Unless yo go for cheaper Chinese version of BlackBerry otherwise BlackBerry made by RIM accept this command and all other original phones whether its Nokia, Motorola etc

PS: BlackPerry za China zina lines mbili mbili...dnt go for that crap!

Namba ya saba na nane siyo lazima iwe 00, inaweza kuwa 01 au 02 so that is not the way to recognize genuine blackberry.

Blackberry in features za ziada kama blackberry messenger, fake ones hazina. Vilevile mifuko ya blackberry inaweza kutumika kulock simu unapoiweka kwenye mfuko. Blackberry fake mifuko yake haiwezi kuilock.

battery ya blackberry original inakuwa imeandikwa Blackberry wakati fake one hazina.

line mbili umeliwa mze kmbia kama hujajiajndaa knunua BB acha bei zake ni kuanzia lk9

Ndio maana nikasema namba ya saba na nane iwe 00 ikiwa 01 au 02 or any other number that's not original! 01 na 02 means imetengenezwa other places under licence. Za kichina namba ziko tofauti.

i think it is time Tanzanians should stop buying things depending on fake-original phrase!much worse by doing so only with regard to where the particular product came from!that is just pure silliness.

80% of products used in homes in Europe/US comes from China.and i am sure we are approaching 98% limit now.

what we should do is either try authenticating products as per brand instructions or buy at designated suppliers (this is a problem since hao wahindi/tz suppliers ndio fakers number one).

hii tabia tuliyojiletea ya kubrand all things CHINA as fake imesababisha wafanyabiashara wasio waaminifu ku-exploit ujinga wetu kwa kuja na mbinu mpya.

now fake products regardless of where they are made are sold at rocketing prices just because they have made in Germany,UK,US tags!!what clothing company have factories in the US?nike?adiddas?none?they all have them in china.so an authentic nike sneaker is also going to have a made in china tag.and probably a fake one will have made in USA!

when it comes to phones and electronics, much of which tanzanians dont understand is advancements in technology has made production a ver diversifies procedure.

most manufactures have contracts from CHINESE suppliers to provide them with OEM products only for them to put their logo in them.so an IPHONE is made in CHINA for $80,get stuck with an iphone logo and shipped to the US and get sold for $199.

problem is much of these OEM factories are very stricts and they adhere to very strict leakege protocols.last month a prototype that went missing from an IPHONE factory in south of china caused as big as havoc to make a superitendant to commit suicide for dailing to protect the prototype.

Blackberries and all other phones are made in CHINA 70% of the time.so not buying one because it is made in china is plain silly!

ofcourse you can get away with that,BUT there is high probability that even that plane you are flying on was made in china because BOEING's most efficient factory is actually in CHINA.

so it is not about the tags guys,we need education and regulations.hii biashara ya watu kwenda china na kubeba simu 200 kwenye mabegi ndio na kuzileta TZ ndio inaleta haya yote.

I do agree with you, but my point here is not that Chinese do not make good things but on the counterfeit products made by Chinese companies! These blackberry products we are talking about is not a real blackberry only that someone intentionally made a phone and put a brand showing its blackberry while its not true.
Koreans made Sumsung and no body complain about that because its their brand! Adidads, Nike etc have companies in China, Malaysia etc because of cheaper labour and they made genuine products there

There is a point that you are missing.NO legal Chinese company makes fake products!

no legal Chinese company makes counterfeits.it is a Grey market that is fueled by very intelligent Chinese graduates or former workers of these multinationals who are taking advantages of poor countries.

in the case of phones one thing you will notice is that all these phones use the same interface. They have the same OS and the use the same SDK's.and guess who provided these SDK's in the first place!Microsoft!for educational uses,in Taiwan.since then it has grown into a very lucrative copy anything digital.because the original SDK's was so good and powerful to mimick anything its way.

many iterations to the original SDK's have been release, but in the end it is all illegal.

in china there are 3 types of products, low brands, middle brands and premium brands.

trust me 90% of products you buy in TZ belong to low or middle brands.
that is to say even if the TV is SONY,as long as it's target market is Tanzania, you will always be guaranteed that it will be made from the cheapest OEM parts.that is just business, pure business.no pun intended by sony.

and all these low to mid level products can be made my 80% of chinese/korean/taiwanese companies.quality wise they are almost the same.because they probably used the same OEM supplier and the same factory.

so while we complain lack of employment here we are providing one to thousands of job lacking ASIANS by simply being DUMB.

back to the blackberry what people fail to understand is that we created this ourselves,we choose the name following without being objective.
so those not so intelligent business people decided to put a blackberry logo on their Microsoft SDK's phones just to put a flavor on it.and attract those attention mongers!

in btn its Samsung and Adidas!i know there are many adiddas and sumsung fakes out there!

in short zote zilikuwa FAKE!ungeuziwa fake zaidi kwa bei ghali!good you got back to your senses.
original electronics merchandise and fake ones are very different, both in making and functionalities.tatizo lililokuwepo sasa hivi Tanzania hakuna enough information ya kuyajua hayo.

imagine someone buying a double line blackberry halafu analalamika "it was almost the same as the Original!WTF!"

Umaskini nao unachangia.if we had bigger purchasing power sony would have its official presence here na sio hawa ma-AGENT wa kihindi ambao last contact they had with sony was 10-20 years ago.

Hivi simu zilizopo Tanzania zinatengenezwa wapi??!

NOKIA,Samsung,Motorola,Sony Erricson,LG

hawa wote wana 70% ya viwanda vyao vipo china.mfano hao Nokia, samsung na SE almost 90% of their productions come from CHINA.

kuna small players like APPLE,RIM(blackberry) and PALM hawa APPLE 100% comes from china, kuanzia simu hadi computers zao na MP4.

RIM wana viwanda Mexico, canada na CHINA.PALM pia almost same as RIM(blackberry).

kibaya zaidi NOKIA ndio first target for fakers, then it goes down the line in precedence.

RIM na APPLE wanakuwa counterfited not base on market share but rather based on popularity.

kwa sasa hivi wafanyabiashara wa TZ have too much power on deciding quality kwa consumers.something that should rest between consumers, retailers, manufactures and gov authorities.

imagine mamia ya wafanyabiashara wanaoleta bidhaa kutoka DUBAI,wakati hakuna kiwanda hata kimoja kule.kwa nini wasiende vinakotengenezwa?hivi mmeshawahi kusikia huko nchi inayofuata bidhaa kwenye nchi nyingine?wakati hizo nchi 2 zote hazitengenezi hicho kitu?!something must be wrong.it only happens in TZ.
