Explosion in Nairobi

Sio hio tu mkuu.
mahakamani kushatakiwa for any of those bombings
. That tells you a lot about the Kenya Police Force
investigating capabilities....or worse still, complicity which is very damning!

*cough* *cough*

A police officer yesterday said the self-confessed al Shabaab member Elgiva Bwire named two of his accomplices leading to their arrest. Giving his evidence before a magistrate, Jackson Chacha said Bwire named Omar Muchiri and Stephen Macharia as his recruits who were to carry out attacks in various parts of Nairobi.

DIVERTS or COINCIDENCE?
Between March 8th and 9th
2012,
The Kenyan Government
was
facing a major crisis. Parliament
had exposed a major
scandal in
the manipulation of the
shilling,
where a few banks, (and possibly
some well connected
individuals)
made tens of billions. Just as
the
public started absorbing the
news, a major Grenade
attack
takes place in Machakos Bus
Station on March 10.
Attention was diverted from the
Central Bank of Kenya (CBK)...
Shilling Scandal, and
Kenyans
quickly forgot the Shilling
Scandal.

In connection to that, Between May 25 and 27, KTN Tv runs
a series exposing the rot in
the
Kenyan security system,
and deep state house connection. On May
28, a
blast goes off. Attention is
quickly
diverted from the Jicho
Pevu (KTN Tv programme) expose to the blast.

Someone help
me.
Is this a mere
coincidence or
someone is playing games
with Kenyans?'

Alshabaab kesha kufa

NO POWER FAULT

Kenya Power, the country's sole electricity distributor, says initial investigations have ruled out any electrical malfunction.

In a statement, the company said:

"A rapid response technical team from Kenya Power visited the premises upon learning of the incident and found out the following:

  • The affected building has no ground mounted transformer inside it or outside that would explode
  • The team found all the electrical connections to the building including the cutouts (fuses) on the Kenya Power side that would otherwise blow in the event of a short circuit inside the building intact
  • On the Kenya Power network that supplies the general area, no protective devices operated. Protective devices would switch off power network to prevent a fault in a premises, such as the affected building from coming back into the rest of the network."
It concluded that it was "therefore not possible that the explosion was caused by an electricity fault".

[h=1]Witness in Kenya blast blames bearded man[/h]Speaking to The Associated Press from a Nairobi hospital bed, Irene Wachira said a bearded man came to a nearby stall three times and acted as if he were interested in buying something. Wachira said the third time he came with a bag that he left behind. The blast occurred shortly afterward, she said.

Wachira, a vendor in the building, described the man as "Arabic-looking" because of his relatively light skin.

A doctor told AP that another person wounded in the blast said a Somali-looking man left behind the bag. The doctor said he could not be quoted by name.

Same case na Afrika Mashariki vita hivi vishaanza. Tulichelewa hata kuchukua hatua mapema. Hakuna cha kurudi nyuma. Lazima state agents wakae macho vita viendelee. Watafute magaidi wanamoishi

We have a very strong defence forces lakini Police wing imejawa na incompetent people ambao ndio inazuia reforms. Formations zao zimejaa watu ambao hawana mafunzo bora. Ikiwa wanataka kufaulu lazima waweze ku-tug pamoja.

Here we go again...the blood is not even dry yet and the schadenfreude is already beginning to manifest itself here. I'd like to say that I am surprised but i'm not really! I'm sure "supermod" won't have anything to say here though!

Let's put emotion aside for a minute, there is nothing wrong with what I have stipulated. The number one job of any government is to defend and protect its citizens. The government of Kenya has let Wanachi down, and fankly speaking, it has shown abysmal failure and incompetence in performing it's number one duty. Jamani, we are talking about people's properties and lives here! What is the logic behind of having a government then?

Bahati mbaya nazo zina kujitoa mhanga sasa tufanye nini? Kuwa na sharia si suluhisho maana Iran na Syria zipo, kusilimu wote si suluhisho maana Iraq walikuwa karibu wenyewe tu... uh afadhali kuhamia kwenye sayari ya mars labda itachukua muda huko kabla ya kuanza dini

Sasa, they are just arguing! Odinga is saying terrorists are the culprits. On the other hand, Kenya's police chief said electrical fault is to blame. And to make the matter even worse, Kenya power company is asking what electrical fault? These exchanges summarize everything that one needs to know about Majirani zetu. Everyone is salivating for fifteen minutes of fame; instead, of looking on ways to confront this monster.

I dony deny that that's the case but don't castigate us unless you've been in the same situation and handled it better.
