It is another “APRIL”. It reminds me the Rwandans Genocide in 1994. It further reminds me the following conversation between the UN Captain and the Refugees representative.
“Captain! I have a polite request;
Just from all of us the peoples of hutu hero and refugees of the school.
We are all Fathers, Mothers, Sons and Daughters.
We are all one family now; and
it is as one family that we wish to die.
Therefore, we are politely requesting you that,
Before you leave us, let your solders use their guns to kill us.
We don’t wish to be killed by the machetes,
as the bullet will kill us so quickly and will be much less pain”.

UN representative (Captain).

“I am sorry; I cannot agree with your request”

Refugees representative.

“If not for us, then please spare the children’s pain; please kill them all”

UN representative (Captain).

“Am so sorry I can’t”

Refugees representative.

“Please just the children”

UN representative (Captain).

“I can’t help you”

With this conversation; do we still need “UNITED NATIONS” to solve our problems?

For me, we do so longer as we cannot form any new organisation
stronger than it as for we africans are failures with our weakest AU.

''BETTER TO HAVE AN OLD ENEMY RATHER THAN A NEW ENEMY.''

I think as African we do, even though sometimes I think UN is just a joke...

UN is a total joke my friend, you right, because the westerns can manipulate members as they please. remember George bush and Colin powel with their silly power point presentation so they can invade iraq.now that was a joke.

out of context,i can see the image of the alchemist book in your icon, that was great book.
i think admin should open a forum where we can discuss great books.have you read the art of war?very small book, the alchemist is big

When you say this please remmember the UN is
China, France, Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States

When you take into account Russia and China never do anything in the security council.

UN = France, UK, United States.

So, the question is really do we still need France, UK, and the United States to solve our problems?
