    Been a while,and i kinda miss the forum.
    So guys check this out the CSI apart from DNA matching,checking the angles of blood droplets, and all that in 'ID'ing the assaulter or the victim this is a really cool technique they use which you too can apply. The technique helps them identify the approximate height of a person who has freed the crime scene and left a footprint.
    Did you know that your foot is 15% your body height meaning if you let 'F' to be your foot length and 'H' be your body length,then
    .
    (F/H)*100=15%
    .
    If you do a little algebra and make H the subject.
    .
    (F/H)=15/100
    (H/F)=100/15
    then
    H=(100/15)*F
    hence
    H=F/0.15

    this means that if you obtain someones foot print and measure its length the divide it with (0.15) you get the height of a person. The technique is so accurate its error lies in (-/+2cm)
