    Ungeuliza magazines za udaku ungejibiwa haraka haraka tena kwa list ndefu ya magazines. Hata hivyo, Mkuu, fanya subira, wajuzi katika fani hiyo watakujibu. Hapa nilikuwa najaribu kukupa company tu. Mimi ni mbumbumbu katika hilo.
    Subira yavuta heri. Watakujibu.

    Maamuma Thanks for the initiative These people at CRB and ERB don't know what to do apart from collecting fees full stop.The problem is that the Minister responsible didn't give them a defined and clear Job description! Haki za wanataaluma zinaminywa left and right after the laws establishing these bodies were enacted we have not see a set of rules and regulations. For example CRB is concerned with bill boards indicating a host of key players at a construction site but have no norms or standards even for labour rates forget about the basics i.e the quality of bulding/construction, equipments,standards materials,ratios; source and have no leverage whatsoever on manufacturers and I wonder if they rarely work with TBS etc...etc.. Once Professionals are registered CPD is just a white paper! Make no mistake about that its only the annual galla and a few bucks from contractors on seminars across the country and policing contractors on the part of CRB no much about ERB what a shame? I am not sure if the website has an iota of strength is as strong as one out of fifty of the jamii forums. If that is the case how can they produce journals while the professionals are busy with ten percentums

    Apart from the one above, the Institute of Engineers Tanzania, publishes the following Journal;
    The Tanzania Engineer a published once every four month,
    I am told there is another one coming out in April to be published by IET again called "Engineering News "

    Leonard Da Vinci was once quote saying that ' Iron rusts from disuse, stagnant water loses its purity and in cold water become frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind"
    Sisiti kusema kuwa wahandisi naona hata kwenye mambo yanayowahusu kabisa mmejikunyata na kuamua kuwa watazamaji. Your survival waits for the mercy of the circumstance!!
    Muanze kuchukua role yenu katika hii jamii badala ya kusubiri wanasiasa wawafikirie. Kama leo wahandisi wakiamua kupigia debe maendeleo mazuri ya miji, miundo mbinu mbalimbali na hata namna ya kujenga utaalamu wa ndani katika kuendesha shughuli mbalimbali nyeti kwa uchumi, za viwanda na biashara naamini wanasiasa watatoa umuhimu mkubwa wa ufuatiliaji wa mambo yatakayo inufaisha jamii yetu.
    Mfano huu wa kuwa na publication chache kwenye maeneo yanayochukua pato kubwa la taifa ni ishara tosha kwa wahandisi wengi ni inactive kwenye kuwaeleza wananchi umuhimu wa fani yao

    That might be true of Engineers in TZ as they are being busy chasing 10% of their project contracts sums!ha ha haaa....! of course we others we are being kept busy this side of the world preparing 2010 world cup infrastructures but of course there are plenty of Engineering magazines nd journals to keep us updated issued every month by different Engineering institutions/associations! U know when the country systems collapse, it collapses with everything!!!

    Samahani, nilipotea kidogo, utapata habari zaidi ukifika ofisini kwao IET na ERB, ofisi zote mbili ya Institution of Tanzania (IET) na Engineers Registration Board (ERB) ziko barabara ya Pamba kati ya Wizara ya Mawasiliano na wizara ya Miundombinu, karibu kituo cha mafuta.
