    Intermedia, a global leader in cloud services and the largest Microsoft Exchange hosting provider is seeking a Content Manager to drive the online content of our products for medium sized enterprises.     Content Manager
    Job Description: The Manager of Marketing Content will be responsible for managing and producing content to market/sell Intermedia’s cloud services to small- and medium-business decision-makers.

    Specific Responsibilities:
    • Author materials to market/sell Intermedia’s cloud products and services to our customers and prospective customers
    • Collaborating with a team of highly-qualified subject matter experts, create a wide range of content that can be adapted for the web, emails, sales materials, white papers, data sheets, social media, video and other channels
    • Supervise external writing resources to ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
    • Ensure content is optimized for search and user experience across all channels
    • Mapping out and evolving Intermedia’s short- and long-term content strategy, supporting and extending marketing initiatives
    • Evaluating and refining content and the strategy based on input and feedback from stakeholders, customers, and partners

    Requirements:
    • Reporting to the head of marketing, this person will work with other members of Intermedia’s high-performing marketing team and collaborate closely with product management and sales.
    • 4+ years of experience
    • Demonstrated success in writing a broad range of content for print and digital consumption
    • Ability to create engaging content from an outline, bullet points, or quick conversation
    • Training as a print or broadcast journalist and ability to tease a story out different threads of ideas
    • The ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Experience writing for a business audience, particularly to businesses with 50-500 employees
    • Experience writing about cloud services or technology
    • A superb – but fast – writer, with outstanding command of the English language, and a good editor
    • Familiarity with marketing principles and a “customer-first” attitude
    • A passion for new technology tools and for being a part of the conversation
    • A great sense of humor

    Interactions:
    • Internal: Marketing, product management, sales
    • External: Freelance writers, technology partners, private label partners

    Note: Telecommuting not preferred. Must be onsite in Sunnyvale.
