    Ni msimu mwingine wa machungwa, yamejaa tele kila kona. Shilingi 100 tu unapata chungwa. Lakini siyo ajabu kama kuna watu msimu unaisha hawajala hata chungwa moja, wala suala la matunda halipo kabisa katika orodha ya milo yao!


    Inawezekana pia hata kwa wale wanaokula, japo kidogo, hula kama kiburudisho tu bila kujua faida zake mwilini. Katika makala ya leo nitakujuza faida 13 unazoweza kuzipata unapokula chungwa, ambalo limesheheni virutubisho kibao.

    Kumbuka kuwa hata chungwa moja tu ukila lina kidhi yale mahitaji muhimu ya mwili ya kila siku (daily requirement), iwe chungwa lenyewe au juisi yake halisi.

    1. UKOSEFU WA CHOO
    Kutokana kuwa na kiwango kikubwa cha kirutubisho aina ya kambalishe (fibre), chungwa husaidia usagaji wa chakula tumbuni na hutoa ahueni kwa mtu mwenye matatizo ya ukosefu wa choo. Aidha, kambalishe huondoa kolestro na huimarisha kiwango cha sukari mwilini, hivyo chungwa ni zuri kwa wagonjwa wa kisukari.

    2.UGONJWA WA MOYO
    Kiwango kikubwa cha Vitamin C na virutubisho vya ‘flavonoids’, ‘phytonutrients’ vilivyomo kwenye chungwa, huondoa kwa mlaji hatari ya kupatwa na magonjwa ya moyo (Cardiovascular disease)!

    3. SHINIKIZO LA DAMU
    Virutubisho vya Magnesi (Magnesium) na ‘hesperidin’ vilivyomo kwenye chungwa, husaidia kuondoa tatizo la shinikizo la damu la juu (high blood pressure), hivyo machungwa ni mazuri kwa wagonjwa wa presha.

    4. UGONJWA WA MAPAFU
    Chungwa pia lina kiasi kikubwa cha Vitamin B6 na Madini ya Chuma (iron), virubisho ambavyo ni muhimu kwa uzalishaji wa seli nyekundu za damu, ambazo hufanya kazi ya kusafirisha hewa ya oksjeni mwilini, hivyo kuwa muhimu kwa kujikinga na ugonjwa wa mapafu.

    5. MIFUPA NA MENO
    Chungwa lina kiasi kingi cha madini ya kalisi (calcium) ambayo ni muhimu kwa uimarishaji wa mifupa na meno.

    6. AFYA YA NGOZI
    ‘Anti oxidants’ iliyomo kwenye chungwa, hutoa kinga kwenye ngozi ili isiharibike au kushambuliwa na magonjwa ya ngozi yanayoweza kujitokeza kutokana na mabadiliko ya hali ya hewa. Pia huifanya ngozi ‘isizeeke’.

    7. KOLESTRO
    Virutubisho vilivyomo kwenye chungwa, hasa kwenye maganda yake, hupunguza kiwango cha mafuta mabaya mwilini (bad cholesterol). Hivyo kwa wenye tatizo la lehemu wanashauriwa kula machungwa pamoja na nyama zake.

    8. UKUAJI WA UBONGO
    Chungwa moja lina kiasi cha asilimia 10 ya ‘folic acid’ inayohitajika mwilini kila siku. Madini haya ni muhimu kwa afya ya ngozi na ukuaji wa ubongo kwa ajili ya kuimarisha kumbukumbu na uwezo wa mtu wa kufikiri.

    9. KINGA YA MWILI
    Vitamin C iliyomo kwenye chungwa huimarisha uzalishaji wa seli nyeupe ambazo ni muhimu kwa uimarishaji wa kinga ya mwili. Unapokuwa na kinga imara, huwezi kusumbuliwa na magonjwa mara kwa mara, yakiwemo malaria.

    10. UGONJWA WA FIGO
    Ulaji wa machungwa mara kwa mara, ukusaidia kujiepusha na ugonjwa wa figo kwa kiasi kikubwa.

    11. VIDONDA VYA TUMBO
    Unapokuwa na kiwango cha kutosha cha Vitamin C mwilini, una uhakika na kinga dhidi ya ugonjwa wa vidonda vya tumbo, na kama tayari unavyo, ulaji wa machungwa utakupa ahueni.

    12. UGONJWA WA MAFUA
    Kutokana na wingi wa virutubisho vya kinga vilivyomo kwenye chungwa, ulaji wake mara kwa mara utakuepusha na magonjwa ya kuambukiza na vairasi (virus), kama vile mafua ambayo hivi sasa yanawasumbua watu wengi. Hivyo kula machungwa mengi kadii uwezavyo ili ujiepushe na mafua.

    13. KINGA YA MAGONJWA MENGI
    Chungwa, siyo tu linatoa kinga kwa magonjwa yaliyoainishwa hapo juu, bali pia hutoa kinga hata kwa magonjwa mengine kama vile baridi yabisi (arthritis, rheumatism), pumu, kikohozi, kifua kikuu, nimonia na kisukari. Nakushauri kula machungwa au juisi yake halisi kuanzia leo ili kupata faida hizo.

    Sababu 9 muhimu zinazo sababisha upungufu wa nguvu za kiume
    Zipo sababu nyingi zinazosababisha wanaume kupungua nguvu za kiume katika hizo ni hizi zifuatazo:
    1.ubugiaji wa tumbaku .
    2.uvutaji wa sigara.
    3.utafunaji wa mirungi.
    4.unywaji wa pombe.
    5.kupooza kwa mwili kunakosababishwa na maradhi.
    6.ugonjwa wa kisukari.
    7.kujisaidia kwa njia ya mkono. (Punyeto)
    8.kuwa na mawazo kupita kiasi.
    9.kufanya kazi ngumu.

    TIBA YAKE:
    chukua mbegu za tikiti maji zikaange halafu zitwange ili zitoe unga, chukua juici ya kitunguu thaumu lita moja na asali lita moja changanya pamoja juisi ya kitunguu thaumu na asali weka na vijiko kumi vikubwa vya unga wa tikiti maji koroga vizuri na uwe unakunya dawa hii kikombe kimoja cha kahawa mara tatu kila siku kwa muda wa wiki moja.
