Chelsea has just sacked Andre Villas Boas.

UPDATE 1

Chelsea Statement

Andre Villa-Boas has parted company with Chelsea Football Club today. The board would like to record our gratitude for his work and express our disappointmentthat the relationship has ended so early. Unfortunately the results and performances of the team have not been good enough and were showing no signs of improving at a key time in the season.

The club is still competing in the latter stages of the Uefa Champions League and the FA Cup, as well as challenging for a top-four spot in the Premier League, and we aim to remain as competitive as possible on all fronts. With that in mind we felt our only option was to make a change at this time. With immediate effect Roberto Di Matteo has been appointed first team coach on an interim basis until the end of the season.

Chelsea have fired Andre-Villas Boas after less than a year in charge of the club.

Mar 4, 2012 - After less than a year in charge of Chelsea FC, Andre Villas-Boas has been sacked. Chelsea has been disappointing for most of the Premier League season, and rumors that his job was insecure began to circulate after the Blues lost 3-1 to Napoli in the UEFA Champions League. On Saturday, Chelsea played poorly in a loss to West Bromwich Albion that put them three points behind Arsenal for fourth place.

A statement by Chelsea reads:
Andre Villa-Boas has parted company with Chelsea Football Club today.
The board would like to record our gratitude for his work and express our disappointmentthat the relationship has ended so early.
Unfortunately the results and performances of the team have not been good enough and were showing no signs of improving at a key time in the season.
Former Chelsea player and current assistant manager Roberto Di Matteo will take over as caretaker manager for the remainder of the season. Di Matteo was previously the manager of West Bromwich Albion from 2009 to 2011 before he took the job as Chelsea assistant manager

Kama ni kweli basi uongozi wa chelsea umekurupuka.
Wangekuwa makini wangemfungishia virago muda mrefu, sio sasa wakati timu imepoteza mwelekeo hata kwenye top four wako mashakani.

Btw nani kakabidhiwa mikoba?

I have lost counts of how many managers Chelsea has sacked in the last 10 years. But the players are still the same.

Ule usemi kuwa "Coaches are hired to be fired" umetimia kwa kocha wa Chelsea Andres Villas Boas a.k.a AVB's baada ya kibarua chake kuota nyasi.
Upo uwezekano mkubwa nafasi yake ikachukuliwa na kocha wa zamani wa Liverpool Rafael Benitez..

Yametimia.....

Kama lakini anaondoka na kitita cha Pounds milioni 12 kama sijakosea. His next job is at Inter Milan next season. And he will probably win the champions league with them. Chelsea bwana.

Good move, lazima to restore our pride bana, tuleteeni kidume sasa

Kifupi kalipwaya/kaalivaa viatu namba kubwa kuliko namba yake. Bora kaondoke!

It is only when the likes of of Lampard, Cole, Terry, Drogba, Essien, etc leave Chelsea that, a manager will succeed.

Inter walikuwa wanamtaka huyu jamaa kwa udi na uvumba....Kwa hiyo hizi ni habari njema sana kwao....
