The Scoop on Chelsea Clinton’s Wedding Gown

​

The months of speculation on whom Chelsea Clinton would choose to design her wedding dress are finally over — and it’s Vera Wang! The bride walked down the aisle on Saturday night in a strapless silk organza gown with a draped tulle bodice and an embellished belt designed by Wang, a Clinton family friend.

The star-loved designer, a guest at the wedding in Rhinebeck, N.Y. this weekend, also designed the bridesmaids’ dresses.

Another good friend of the couples’, Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey, designed groom Marc Mezvinsky’s tuxedo as well as ties for the groomsmen and the father of the bride, former President Bill Clinton.

As for the mother of the bride, who was the picture of glamour at the previous night’s rehearsal dinner, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton chose a gown designed by her go-to designer and long-time friend Oscar de la Renta.

In March 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and later pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud.[5] Nearly $10 million was involved in the crimes. Shortly after his indictment, he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but the judge at his trial disallowed a mental illness defense.[1] Mezvinsky was released from federal prison on April 11, 2008.[6]

Baada ya Lewinskygate ambayo ilikuwa more humiliating and public Bill amewezaje ku feel comfortable in such a crowd hata huyo father of the groom asiweze ? Vipi nduguze je, maana hata kama angekuwa bado yuko nyumba kubwa si kunatakiwa kuwa na wawakilishi wa upande wa mume ? Mimi naona picha zimekuwa one sided kutokana na celebrity ya the Clintons. Kwani huyu mume anatoka mitini ?

I am not that big on weddings myself, especially big weddings, lakini this is hardly a convincing excuse.

Kama ingekuwa hivyo si wangefanya a family wedding basi. Yaani kumuoza mtu bila ya familia, with all this hype ni vibaya zaidi kuliko kutomuoza kabisa.

Sasa inaonekana kama huyu kijana si tu kaolewa na Chelsea, bali pia kama kawa adopted na the Clintons. Harusi haina balance.
