Branch Manager - reference BM/SEP10



key responsibilities

• Managing the branch operations
• Responsible for the development of the activities according to the objectives
• Managing a team of 20 clent officers, client assistants and tellers

Profile

• First working experience required ( at least 3 years), preferably in similar positions
• University degree required preferably in the area of interest: Management / Accounting/ Finanance/ Banking/ Economics.
• Practical Knowledge of micro/ small businesses
• Good relationship and communication skills, strong team spirit, leadership and organisational skills demonstrated through experience of team management/ coaching

Branch staff Positions

• client officers(reference CO/SEP10) - Prospecting and managing a client portifolio ( loans and deposits), small and micro businesses analysis (70% of the time spent on the field)
• Client Assistant ( reference CA/SEP10) - carrying on back office tasks/information and advise to client.
• Tellers ( reference TE/SE10) - Cash management and client relationship in the branch

These three positions report directly to the Deputy/ Branch manager.



Profile

• Graduate / Diploma holder preferably in the area of interest: marketing/Finance/Economics/Sociology.
• First working/Practical experience required ( at least 1 year)
• At least one year experience as a cashier/teller for the teller position
• Practical knowledge of micro/ small businesses
• Good relationship and communication skills, Stron team spirit

Operations assistant ( reference OPE/SEP10) - In charge of supporting operations:reporting, banking software support and control, procedures definition, training.


Profile

• Graduate / Diploma holder preferably in Finance/Economics or information systems.
• Excellent writing, organisation and computer skills (MS EXcel and other softwares)

All positions require a perfect English and Kiswahili proficiency, good computer skills and a real motivation to work and grow in a start-up and challenging context.
