    Katika mwelekeo huo tumefikia mahali mjasiriamali wa Bongo akitaka kutengeneza clothline lazima ale mitkasi na watu wa China;

Sasa, swali langu which is a little bit political as well as philosophical ni kuwa nchi inaweza kuendelea kwa kuimport vitu kutoka nje na kuviita maendeleo?

Development is a result of ingenuity. You either have it or you don't. If you don't you can't import it from elsewhere. If you think you can import it, you are deluding yourself and you will end up with 'imitation' development and not real development.

Kuna siku nilikenda Krogers..kwenye Deli lao...nikaona wanauza crab salad kwa bei poa sana. Nikasema woooow! Crab salad for less than 3 bucks...this is a good deal. Nikakigeuza hicho ki container kusoma Nutrition Facts na ingredients....kwenye ingredients nikaona 'imitation crab meat'...so I was like what eff is imitation crab meat....nikakirudisha ki container nikaondoka zangu kwenda Quiznos...

you ruined your appetite.. usingekigeuza. And you ruined mine kwa sababu I don't geuza the thing.. inasema crab meat, looks like crab meat.. I eat like crab meat! Well until now.

Ila ndiyo ujanja mtu kaona watu wanapenda taste ya hiyo akaamua kutengeneza mfano wake.. !

Hapana!

Development can never be bought or imported! Of course different skills can be learned from different interactions, and indeed certain knowledge can be imported, however, they must be supported by local resources - human labour, natural resources, and human welfare.

Now, if we ask ourself what is development? There is no universal answer to search question, especially for those who are faced with denial of realities. So, to cover their souls they might divide development into parts - economic growth, freedom, technology, human capital - and run away to draw logic of how these different parties affect one another.

Nyerere at least tried! His conception of development was people centered approach, looking into basic needs to assure human development to achieve economic development. He believed development is organic rather than mechanical, how much of his belief was in his actual policies that is a total different question.

The current development thinking is patched development, where some where in 1990's our leaders thought you could separate between human capital, tools of development and economic growth and adopt nations of freedom of individuals and free market without responsibility. Those concept are important in creating conducive environment for development, but they can never bring development if the receiver have not strategies how the freedom is going to contribute to development. In result, the nation became a receiver of other forms of development, of which they don't have control with.

I don't think i can have problem of capital, of course i will look into its conditions to make sure i am not in debt slave. To me the problem is not foreign aid to our budget, rather is how do we use that foreign aid. I understand foreign aid have conditions attached, however, there is a lot of misuse of aid, which keep us in the pit! of course we are going back to square one, usichokitolea jasho hakikuumi!

Unajua kunakitu ambacho watu wanasahau!

Development in general is a broad terminology, there is different types of development from economic to social.

Sasa sijajua unazungumzia economic development au social. Lakini when it come to economic development, there is a lot of ways that Tanzania can empower her own people. However, government shouldn't be a solution for economic development, but the people of such community. Government should develop policies which provides sustainability of private investments, collect tax for social activities.

I don't think Tanzania will develop through blue chip industries, because we don't have enough resources for that kind of development. I think there are different ways that we can develop our economy depends with our geographic location, resources and human capital. Also,i don't believe that there is a Golden bullet when it come to development. Tanzania need to use different strategies to empower Tanzanian.

kwa sasa bado job seekers ndo rule of employment game vs job creators...

we need job creators and not job seekers.

Nchi yoyote yenye natural resources [primary stakeholders] ina potential ya kuendelea!... Tanzania ni moja wapo

Mimi nafikiri development can both be bought and imported but you should have the required ingenuity to transform it to your advantage ili kujikomboa na utegemezi.

Very wide but in general development is what we don't or have very low in Tanzania.
