The premiums that were obtained yesterday from a bid organised by PIC in implementation of Bulk Procurement System (BPS) sees the premium going higher than currently being put in pricing by EWURA. The premiums are at an average of $59.70/mt while currently the market can offer up to US$38/mt.
For the country this is not serving the required or intended purpose as was being advocated by politicians. That being the case it these people are brave enough they should cancell the current bills and borrow the Kenyan bid document in which Kenyan normally gets about 24$/mt or less.
