The historic friendly pitting the five-time World Cup champions, Brazil, against the national team, Taifa Stars, would be watched live in over 160 countries.

Speaking during a news conference yesterday, the TFF president, Leodeger Tenga, said a Brazilian TV station, Global TV, which has a wide coverage, would broadcast the match live.

Brazil rated first in the latest Fifa ranking will lock horns Tanzania who mark time at the 108th position on June 7 at the 60,000 all-seater National Stadium.

"It's a huge opportunity for our players to show what they are capable of, but we also thank Brazil for preferring to warm-up against us," the TFF boss said.

The Samba Boys as they are popularly known arrived in South Africa yesterday and would jet in the country on June 6 aboard a special plane.

He pointed out that most World Cup-bound teams shunned facing each other in the build-up matches, worrying to upset players' psychology in case of defeats.
"As they finals draw closer, the qualified sides avoid to play against each other that's why Brazil want to test their strengths against us," he said.

Tenga disclosed: "We approached the likes of Spain, France, Germany and Portugal to play against us, but they turned down our requests, so we're happy Brazil gave us a nod."

The TFF president said the match would help boost Tanzania's tourism industry and that President Jakaya Kikwete was delighted with the coming of the soccer kings.
In a speech read by the chairperson of the World Cup marketing committee, Teddy Mapunda, the government was pleased with the Samba Boys keenness to play Taifa Stars.

The players expected to be in the entourage are:

Goalkeepers: Julio Cesar (Inter Milan), Doni (Roma), Heurelho Gomes (Tottenham Hotspur).

Defenders
Maicon (Inter Milan), Dani Alves (Barcelona), Lucio (Inter Milan), Juan (Roma), Luisao (Benfica), Thiago Silva (AC Milan), Michel Bastos (Lyon), Gilberto (Cruzeiro).

Midfielders
Gilberto Silva (Panathinaikos), Felipe Melo (Juventus), Ramires (Benfica), Josue (Wolfsburg), Kaka (Real Madrid), Elano (Galatasaray), Julio Baptista (Roma), Kleberson (Flamengo).

Luis Fabiano (Sevilla).

Brazil's second day of training at their Randburg High School base didn't go to plan as sparks flew between Kaka and Felipe Melo following a rash challenge from the Juventus midfielder.

Estado de Sao Paulo
reports the Juventus man went in hard on Kaka during a training match which left the Real Madrid man furious, so much so he stormed off the pitch, despite swift apologies from his team-mate.

Tension was high as fevered temperatures increased and it took the action of Brazil's staff and entourage to defuse the situation and restore tranquillity.

Kaka was not impressed, and clearly shaken up by the incident having returned to training following a recent injury.

He will not be playing in forthcoming friendlies against Zimbabwe and Tanzania on June 2 and 7 respectively.
