The Benjamin William Mkapa HIV/AIDS Foundation (BMAF) is a Trust established in 2006 with the aim to complement and supplement the national efforts to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS through health systems strengthening, with special focus on Human Resource for Health (HRH). In realizing BMAFs mission and the set programme goals, the Foundation is strengthening its technical capacity, through seeking self motivated, committed staff and those who seek for excellence to fill in the following positions located at Head Office in Dar Es Salaam and field offices in Mtwara, Iringa and Mwanza:-
The Benjamin William Mkapa HIV/AIDS Foundation (BMAF) is collaborating with the Ministry of Health & Social Welfare in strengthening the health systems with the aim of improving service delivery of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and other health services.
BMAF is a sub-recipient of a grant from Global Fund to Fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Round 9 (Grant No: TNZ-911-G14-S), under the project title Enhancing HIV prevention services in Tanzania. The five-year project plans to expand existing health staff accommodation by at least 10 units per district in a total of 70 districts, to improve working environment in the primary health care facilities.
