BEACHBALL blunder ref Mike Jones has been left off the Premier League list this weekend.

As exclusively revealed by SunSport yesterday, the Cheshire official has been rapped for failing to realise Darren Bent's winner against Sunderland on Saturday should have been ruled out.
Bent's fifth-minute shot cannoned in off a red beachball, thrown on to the pitch by a young Liverpool fan, leaving Kop No 1 Pepe Reina helpless.
But Jones, his two assistants and the fourth official did not realise it should have been ruled out under FIFA laws because of an 'outside interference.'
Jones will now take charge of the Championship game between Peterborough and Scunthorpe at London Road.
But former top ref Dermot Gallagher said: "Even referees in local parks should know that if there is an outside agent on the pitch then you stop the game and restart it with a drop ball.
"For it to happen at this level is unbelievable."
